Laharu and Anubis have a cameo together in the December event. Thought it would be cute if there could somehow be an encounter where they'd bump into each other before then, either in January or June. Here's a rough mock-up I made for a potential January one, rarely occurring at night:



A distant, shadowed figure looms over a rotting heap, as if drawn by all the death. Laharu is affixed on it with a reverent curiosity. "You see it too, right?" he whispers, as you approach. "Who is that?"

[God of death, probably.] -> "The god of death?" yelps Laharu. "...Well, I bet he'd know where to get a free lunch around here. Can't hurt to ask..." He's off before you can stop him. Oh, Laharu. The entity on the starry horizon does make the hair on your hackles stand up...but with that aura comes a strange solace. Whoever it is, you don't think they'll hurt your friend.
