There was silence for just a moment as the two fully locked eyes on each other. Vidar had been correct in his assumption, there were mixed emotions of all types in her eyes. Rage was in them too. What surprised Vidar the most was her refusal to fight, even after he had taken the life of her companions. It was certainly there, the urge, and yet she didn’t give into it. Why was that? His ear would flick towards the forest. A growl could be heard. Bloodborne. He’s think with a scowl before turning his attention back to the other she-wolf in the distance. Now that Vidar had noticed Bloodborne’s presence, he could smell the faintest hint of her scent. She was definitely here. Her growl was commanding him to leave this strange interaction with the Sungods wolf alone. And yet, he couldn’t seem to do so. It was against his father’s teachings but it was fine. It’s not like he was here anyway. How would he know that he had disobeyed the direct order from his Alpha? Well, it wasn’t that he was disobeying it per se, just delaying his obedience to it. He’d let his eyes linger back onto the Alpha though, a sign that he knew of her presence.

Taking a hesitant step forwards, Vidar took note of her refusal to look up at him once more. She likely didn’t know her own reaction to his presence. So, he took a few more steps forwards, continuing to walk in her general direction before coming to a stop right behind her. She was looking at her reflection. With Vidar towering behind her, she was sure to view his own reflection. Since she refused to meet his eyes, he’d make her se him. The dried blood remained on his face and as he opened his mouth to speak, the tips of his canines were stained pink from Daisy’s blood. ”It is admirable, the type of attitude you’re portraying. You hold some truth in your statement, he was never meant to die. However bloodshed will never cease. Wars will remain, you’re wishing nothing more but for a pup’s dream to come true.” Vidar had spoken his first words after the altercation, stoic amber hues looking at her own reflection. ”However, grief is sure to be the next thing to kill you if you don’t act on the rage you have in your heart.” The Beta’s low voice rumbled, missing of any emotion. ”Go ahead and do it. It’s a step you must take, whether you try to deny it or not.” That statement had come out harsher and with a growl, as if trying to anger her. Just do it. He’d think once again, biting his tongue hard enough to draw blood once more.

It amazed Vidar how well a reflection could mimic emotions. As soon as he had spoken his statements, the expressions on the white she-wolf's face were clashing together. The reflection showed it well, he could only imagine how truly powerful it looked on her face. His scorching hues would land back onto her figure once she quickly whipped back. His eyes widened slightly with surprise. The sudden movement had caused his heart beat to increase, instinct, the need to fight back. But he wouldn't, for an unknown feeling gnawed at his back. Feelings of guilt for having killed the two wolves. Or, as it was confirmed, the Sungods Beta. A scowl made it's way across his face. It was true, he had seen potential in the Beta. However, he supposed maybe he had been too young for the position. Or too inexperienced. For he had let his emotions overwhelm him, which resulted in his death. Then again, Vidar hadn't made it any easier on him either. He had challenged the male in every way possible, crossing the border, attacking his packmate, insulting his pack alongside his alpha. Vidar too wouldn't know how to react. His eyes closed at the thought, he shook his head. His head was then jostled to the side by the slap from the other canid. Amber eyes opened back up, burning intensely. It had been a pathetic thing, only moving his head back a few inches to the side. A disappointed sigh escaped him before suddenly pain exploded from his leg. What? With impressive speeds, the she-wolf had changed her attack onto his leg. It wasn't particularly deep, not dangerously so. He placed weight on it, only to inhale a sharp breath in. It hurt, he wouldn't be able to walk on it comfortably.

Returning his attention onto his attacker, Vidar watched her closely. There seemed to be regret on her face. He could only assume that it was because he had tempted her into attacking him, to defy her morals and beliefs. "Feels good, doesn't it?" His voice was a bit harsher than it's stoic tone. His ears jolted back up at the sound of familiar laughter. A scowl made it's way across his face as he turned to face the new presence. Bloodborne. Confident as always, with a commanding prowess. The sight of her immediately had him dipping his head out of respect, eyes burning onto her despite his lowered head. It was only raised after she went to the stream to do her own cleaning. "Bloodborne, I was heading over to report to you." Vidar had chosen his words carefully, slowly making his way over to his Alpha. He could feel her own eyes burning into his front leg, the one that the white canid had injured. Vidar quickly placed it down, ignoring the pain it sent through him by biting his tongue. "There has been.. An altercation. The Midnight Pack Beta began, thinking his words cautiously. "Two Sungods have been injured, one reportedly dead. Their beta. I don't know about the other one." It seemed that had triggered a sort of effect. For immediately a howl was heard once he spoke those words. His pupils narrowed into tiny dots, the fur on his back rising. His eyes were wide in realization. He knew what that howl was meant for.

The howl was one of resentment and power, confident. Vidar could immediately tell it was of the Sungods Alpha. It was louder, way louder than the average howl. For it was meant to deliver a message to all who could hear. The Sungods were now at war with the Midnight Pack. It set on him fully. Any sight of the opposing rival pack would have either party attack, resulting in more bloodshed than ever. Vidar was confident in their triumph, for the Sungods were now in shambles, with the death of their Beta. Their numbers had been significantly dwindled. Who else had the experience to help lead the Sungods? Ezra, in Vidar's eyes, seemed to lack it. Who else was suited for the role? The Midnight Pack were strong, having both their Alpha and Beta still alive and breathing. Vidar was a vicious commander during battles, having incredibly smart tactics. Tactics that were foreign to this land, tactics that were taught to him by the vicious Pack of his homeland. It wasn't to toot his own horn, but, Vidar doubted that the Sungods had a fighting chance. The Sungods. Vidar suddenly remembered which land they were on. More specifically, the she-wolf in front of both the Midnight Pack Alpha and Beta. Now that the declaration of war had been forced upon, Vidar and Bloodborne were nowhere near welcome on Sungods soil. Their intrusion wouldn't be welcomed. However, it was a 2v1. As Vidar looked at the white wolf in front of them, there was a hesitance in his eyes. One that could only be registered as an apology of sorts. It wasn't her fault but her Alpha had called out a war declaration. One of which started immediately.

Shutting his eyes, he took in a deep breath before summoning a low, harsh growl. It was growing louder with every step he took approaching her, his lips were pulling back as the seconds passed to reveal sharp canine teeth. Teeth that were still stained a light pink from his attack. It was a warning. A warning for the white she-wolf to immediately take off. The only warning she'd get, for Bloodborne wouldn't hesitate to attack her. This was her only chance to go without more potential injuries to her. Vidar took a few more steps forward, body tensing, as if he was readying to attack her. For, he would if she took too long to run off. To his surprise, it seemed that Bloodborne had other plans. plans to leave before things got out of hand. After all, they still had a lot to discuss. A lot to share with their Pack. They had to plan things out, form battle plans, armies, all the actions for the consequence of war. His head turned to his Alpha and he nodded. "Yes ma'am, I'm right behind you." He'd state, tone hardening with the sudden pressure of war consuming him. Vidar couldn't smell at long distances, but he knew the Midnight Pack Alpha could. Even if she was rumored as a monster, Vidar knew the care she placed in her Pack. They were similar in that way. If she told him to leave, Vidar knew she had a good reason.

Turning to look at the white wolf once more, his eyes returned back to their half-lidded position before he broke off into a run, disappearing into the shadows casted by the tall trees of their forest.

They only took a couple of steps forwards before the Sungods Alpha blocked their pathway. Now, he was on Midnight Pack territory. A low growl escaped him, a warning to him as well. He'd let the two Alphas converse, hardened amber hues landing on each one of them as they shot back their retorts with one another. Apollo was being an utter fool, thinking he could take on two wolves. Especially when one of them was the Midnight Pack Alpha and the other one was the wolf who had killed his Beta. He'd lick his front teeth as he snarled, a habit that had come about out of the blue. Turning to face his Alpha as he was addressed, Vidar opened his mouth to instinctively agree only to shake his head. "With all due respect ma'am, I think I'll remain. This idiot came alone, our pack won't be in danger." They were foreign words, he wasn't used to ignoring his Alpha's commands. However, in his eyes, they stood a chance. The Sungods Alpha was alone. If they were to put an end to the war, they'd have to kill him. And Vidar wouldn't hesitate to, just as he hadn't hesitated to attack Daisy or kill Ezra, even if it had been an accident. Another snarl escaped out of him as he was addressed by the Sungods Alpha though he remained quiet, towering over the male, engulfing him with his own shadow. He had officially lost it, in Vidar's eyes. Now he seemed to be a lingering vessel, spouting all kinds of shit that made no sense.

It wasn't until Apollo had shoved his muzzle towards Bloodborne that Vidar finally broke. He'd slam his cranium towards Apollo's face, not a particularly painful attack. It was so he could look the male into the eyes. "Don't you dare disrespect my Alpha, you hear me?!" His voice had grown to a dangerous tone, one that claimed he wouldn't hesitate to kill the Sungods Alpha and leave their pack with no leaders. "Your quarrel, it's with me. You got a bone to pick? It's with me. However, you NEVER disrespect my Alpha, especially not in my presence. Or else I'll show you your place, just like I did with Ezra." They were anger words, ones that would surely get a reaction out of the Sungods Alpha.
