The colossal brute kept his grip on the Alpha. It was a grip meant to restrain, not hurt. Even if the flesh between his teeth was aching to be pierced with his canines, he wouldn't do it. Or else, he may just end up killing the Sungods Alpha, just as he had with the other two. He'd watch Bloodborne interact with the Alpha through the corner of his wide amber eyes, observing as she left a mark on his chest. Clenching his jaw, he could only imagine what Bloodborne did to sharpen her claws so much that they were alike a feline's, sharp enough to draw blood, when the typical canine's claws were dull. Eventually though, his Alpha had commanded him to let go of the Sungods Alpha, which he followed. However, before he let go, he made sure to dig his teeth into the Alpha's chin, deep enough to draw blood of his own. It was revenge for the cheap shot at his neck. Which was beginning to hurt a lot more now that the adrenaline had ceased coursing through him. The Alpha was stumbling, likely still out of balance from the sudden collision.

Some part of Vidar wondered if the other male would suffer from the head injury in a harsh manner. For, it had certainly rattled him. Perhaps, he'd go further into a spiral, going permanently insane. Still, there was a reason why Apollo was made the Alpha of the Sungods. It was likely that he wouldn't give in so easily, even if he was heading down the murderous path of revenge. The thought had him licking his teeth once more. Salty, yet again. This time with the blood of the Sungods Alpha. His eyes felt tired, Vidar felt exhausted. The aching in his back had grown more prominent. Vidar needed some rest. Vidar's head raised when him and his Alpha made eye contact. He didn't respond to her statement, merely giving her a nod. His eyes shot back the Alpha a look of pure stoicism. One that showed no regret for putting the Alpha in his place. His threat had fallen on deaf ears. A scoff escaped the Beta as he shook his head. No, he wouldn't be killed. He was a survivor, he made that abundantly clear today. More wolves had entered the clearing and yet none of them drew his attention away from the white she-wolf that he had formerly been talking to. His eyes hardened before he turned to face forward, walking away from the bloody clearing. The clearing that would permanently have the stench of death lingering.

As they walked back to camp, Vidar fell behind Bloodborne, letting her lead him. His thoughts were racing and every now and again, he would wince from his injuries. He had forgotten about the injury to his paw, the pain had been dulled by adrenaline. And now, the injury to his neck was throbbing, stinging. He hoped it wouldn't get an infection. And yet, he wondered what the Alpha was thinking. When Bloodborne didn't let her emotions run free, it was hard to tell what was going on in her head. Vidar also didn't know if he would be punished for the war he had caused. Then again, the Midnight Pack was itching for any altercation with the Sungods. Perhaps, his punishment wouldn't be that bad. Or even better, maybe there wouldn't be any. Still, he'd certainly have to visit Selene, their medic. For his injuries were beginning to sting and his back was beginning to have an unavoidable ache that wouldn't vanish from his lower hip. He'd bite his tongue in an attempt to soothe the pain to no avail. Luckily though, as they made their way across the forest, Selene was right there in the foliage. In search of herbs maybe? "Selene." The Beta would call out, making him and the Alpha's presence known.
