What makes a king valuble is desirable traits,like BO markings and combo bases. For your king ,i think maybe a different base that was maybe a combo factor (like ice for example),and a reconsideration of mutation choice as ticked piebald seems to not be very sought after. His mane shape is good and his markings are okay. Gen can also have a major impact,but im not sure from this link what gen he is

Most of his markings are applicator, his base is applicator, his mutie isnt a rare one, and he's dirty with inbred heritage, I would say he's not really worth being king. You better invest into getting a clean, more desirable mutie heir than trying to change him, to be honest - markings can be changed but nothing can clean his inbreeding, he will forever be dirty, and all his cubs will, as well.

Couldn't I get a heritage rep tho? That way he'd be a lot more desirable xD I mean his marks weren't cheap to get tbh, so must be desirable? At least people have a chance not to buy em I guess...

You'd need a mutated heritage replacer, however, as mutations cannot be kept from old kings - mutation status always follows that of a heir.
If its desirable you want, you should king him and start breeding some Breed Only markings. Anything applicable, even if the applicator itself is rare, is not really sought after - breed only marks that cannot be applied are what is desirable and wanted on kings. All applicator marks are more or less same in value, and dont add much value to the king.

Yes, I mean breeding him to breed only marked lionesses and hope the cubs get more BO marks than applicator marks! I would heritage replace him before breeding, though, otherwise he and his cubs will have less interest in them than if they were clean. Inbreeding doesnt do anything in-game, but many people still prefer clean lineages for challange and story purposes
