Hello everyone! I've been thinking of what could they look like posed, as they tend to be super common now! I was thinking if we could add more adult dwarf poses. I doodled a concept, of some, but bare in mind i don't do realism! Perhaps a "sweet playful", or "content resting" pose. (Thanks chat :9) I feel we could add a more expressive poses with dwarfs even if they're adults, due to them looking a bit unnerved. Here's some context I've drawn up. Maybe I can edit to add more eventually, they're pretty neutral for lion/lionesses! So I was thinking they could be given to both (flipped images). If not maybe assign certain ones to lionesses, etc. ![]() |

Support. I get not posing them but if the pose could at least be revamped so they look less about to cry that would be cool. They always look so horrified and morose. ![]() |

No support. Poses take an awfully long time to create due to the sheer amount of work required, with the artists needing to recreate every base, marking, eye colour, skin colour, and potentially mane colour on every new pose. Whilst dwarves are relatively common compared to previous years, I do not think that that amount of work is justifiable for any mutation. (Some basic mutations, such as piebalds, can be posed with pre-existing poses, but those are only minimally modified and use existing artwork rather than starting from scratch.) I would not be opposed to a dwarfism variant with any of these poses, as that is a new mutation, but giving an existing mutation a new pose seems a little much. ![]() Edited on 01/01/24 @ 10:20:53 by TheClassCalico (#88888) |
