Note to mods: the only suggestions that I found similar to my topic were to change the Enclave quests to being reset at RO. My suggestion is slightly different than the existing topics I found, which is why I decided to make a separate suggestion for it. Please continue reading to see how it is different. That being said, if you believe my suggestion is too close to existing ones, I apologize and please feel free to lock the topic. How it Works Now The way the Gorilla Enclave currently works is that you can take a quest for a cub once every 24 hours. You have that entire 24 hours to find the cub the gorilla asks for. Once you have the cub, you give the cub to the gorilla, choose your reward and then you will see a timer showing how long until you can take your next quest. There is a 24 hour cooldown on Enclave requests. Interestingly, this timer counts back to the moment you first took the quest. If you take the quest at noon on Thursday and hand the cub in to the gorilla at 9 am on Friday, your counter would show that you have 3 hours until you can take another quest. As soon as noon on Friday rolls around, you can take your next quest and the cycle starts over again. The Concerns Now the issue I have with this system is that I routinely forget what time I took the quest at, or even if I do remember, I am often occupied at that same time and have to take the quest later in the day. So even if I start taking the quest early in the morning on Monday, by the time Friday rolls around, I'm usually taking the quest much later in the day - and even taking a quest later one day in the week can interfere with the timing. Sometimes, I end up forgetting about it until it is too late, or I end up taking it so late that I'm not even able to take it the following day until the next morning after RO. This means I lose out on MT over time. I know I'm not the only busy adult playing Lioden, so I'm certain I'm not the only one with this problem. My Suggested Modification That being said, here is my proposed suggestion: The Gorilla Enclave should work more like snake quests do in that you can take one Enclave request per day, being reset at RO, regardless of when the previous quest was submitted. Reasoning and Explanation At the quest snake, you can take one quest per day regardless of when you finished the previous quest. You can submit a quest taken on a previous day at the snake, take a new one for that day, and submit it immediately after, assuming you fulfill the requirements. At that point, you cannot take a new quest until after RO. The Gorilla Enclave could work much in the same way. The quests could be valid for 24 hours after taken, at which point they would expire. This would still allow players to have the full 24 hours to submit a cub, the same as it currently works, giving players plenty of time to find a suitable cub. With my suggested change, once players submit a cub for a quest taken that day, they would not be able to take a new quest that same day. After RO, it would reset and they could take a new quest. If they did not submit their cub for the previous day until after RO, they could then take a new Gorilla Quest immediately after they submitted the cub for the previous quest. I believe this system would be better for two reasons: 1. More consistency. Having our quests all work the same way would minimize confusion for players, especially those newer to the site and still learning the ropes. As we all know, Lioden has a steep learning curve, and anything to flatten that curve even a little would be appreciated. 2. More fair for players. For players like myself that cannot consistently take quests at the same time each day, this system allows them to take one Gorilla quest per day without forcing them to wait until a certain time. Want to take it at 6 am? Great! Don't have time until 9 pm? Still great! And the best part is that neither of these choices would affect how you have to take your quests for the rest of the week. ------------------------------------------------------- Hopefully this all makes sense and I have done a decent job explaining how my change is different from the other proposed changes to the Enclave in the suggestion board. This is not a simple "Gorilla Enclave resets at RO" change. It's a matter of making non-event quests more consistent with each other for ease of learning and fairness to all players. TLDR; Make Gorilla Enclave quests work like snake quests with every quest being valid for 24 hours and being able to take one per RO regardless of when the previous quest was submitted. Thank you for reading and please let me know if you have any ideas for how to adjust this suggestion |

Never in my life have I felt this represented XD Preach! EDIT: As a nurse at a pet hospital, my hours are different everyday and can sometimes be very long. Sometimes I end up losing sleep and all for my patients, but that also means my home routine is different everyday as well. I don't always have time to log in at the exact same time everyday for MT and if I come home late, then my timing changes to late night quests before bed. It's super frustrating and sometimes I have to let the day roll over without doing the quest to reset the timer to a more manageable time. 1 player likes this post! Like? Yeah, in my experience, the snake quests have been more manageable than the gorilla quests. Also, even if you consistently start and complete them quickly, the 24-hr system means that eventually you'll reach a time where you cannot even begin a quest until several hours after it reopens (ex. the quest resets at 12:40 am but your sleep schedule is 11:00-8:00 am) 1 player likes this post!
