To respond to your idea, claw, of how Philly and Herc would have grown close, I like it, mui bein. I have yet to type up a backstory for any of my characters, as i like to get ideas as the RP progress, so this is great.

so i am going to jot down changes that we can debate. so what are some things ytou would like to incorporate into the rp, or things that could help with backstory.

*adjusts my glasses* I would like to know what the eventual goal is between the two prides? Are we aiming for the evils to eventually prevail and take over the lands, or for the goods to win and take down the evil cult lions? oooooor for Ophelia and Dark to unite the two prides in the face of some bigger threat that could wipe them all out?

Ok! We can flesh out that plot idea.

My next question, what is the end goal with the Dark and Lynx situation currently happening? Ophelia refuses to give Dark back to him, the prides fight (or not) we can decide that, But then what? Does Lynx have a change of heart and calm down, does Dark and the cubs go back to him? What we doin here.

Yee! in the meantime. How do yall feel about this revision of the Good lions lore? I posted both for comparison. Please be honest if you don't like it!

LORE FOR GOOD: Formerly being with the evil pride, queen Ophelia and the king split off with a few other lions. Trying to battle their former family, the Evils. The queens from both prides are sisters. But they refuse to let that relation keep them from war. They make songs and hymns drawing away from evil. They go to meetings to prevent the takings of lions but nothing ever changes. To bring one's mind back from the "Heaven seer's" they grow Red flowers called "Back from Life" and the queen, king, and their cubs always wear one to ensure they never get taken over.

Lore for Good:
Originating from the same pride as her sister Darker Light, Ophelia, Queen of the Good lions, followed her sister when she left their birth pride and initially helped her found the pride that would later become known as the Evil lions. It was clear from the beginning that the sisters did not see eye to eye on anything when it came to running a pride, and they had a falling out. Darker Light banished her sister from the Evils, and Ophelia went on to found a new pride alongside her King, which became known as the Good lions. Together they work to stop her sister and her King from completely taking over the lands.
While the Evils sing songs and make hymns of manipulation and power, the Goods sing and make poetry of freedom and solidarity.
They fight back against the effects of the beautiful white flower known as as Heavens Seer, with a blood red flower known as Return to Life.

The stream the cuts the two territorries from each other. The good sides smell like a temple of the gods. while the evils smell of Oats and elephants.

Maybe Darker Light took control of the Evil Pride from her mother by taking advantage of the chaos that came from the aftermath of the Rise of Serpent events?
Maybe she took it because she viewed her mother’s ambitions as pathetic and small - an old lioness that is barely holding to power in a weaken pride: A lot of talk, but nothing to back it up.

Dark could have seen the chaos stirred up by the ancient Serpent of Chaos as a new beginning for the pride, they have tasted true power and it was humbling, and they knew the chilling blade of fear and death that sliced the air as it nearly became the End of Days.

Dark wants that power - to know that power and fear so little and make all those before them panic as if they were Death themselves. Those who have chaos, have control of all.

The Good Pride embracing the preciousness of Life and Light.

Maybe a song about looking to the light - the Sun, the Moon, the Stars - light even in the darkest night…

It’s not so much that the Good Pride is a bunch of Goodies, but it’s about Balance. Definitely more a Circle of Life vibe, but not afraid to fight or use a show of power to maintain order and balance.

darks mother hated her and loved Ophelia. But dark doesn't think she is doing anything wrong as she felt the gods talked to her, told her to do what she does.

I don’t think it would be shocking for that massive Chaos being to reach out to mortals - including lions - that had Darkness and Madness in their minds and hearts to further spread Chaos…

She wasn't contacted by the gods though, Dark is just a phycopath who cant tell what comes from her mind and what doesnt.
