I think breeding for a specific base might be a good start - do you enjoy combo bases at all?

Yeah, I like them. (I think, I don't completely know what a combo base is.) I know I like colorbombs quite a bit too.

If you're on PC, you can hit ctrl+F and type in a base that you currently have in your pride, and maybe it's a factor for one of the bases :) Or, you can browse through them and see if one looks particularly nice to you.

I'm not much of a combo fan as I don't like being restricted in what bases I can breed to get it to pass to cubs, so I picked a couple favorite breed-only specials. Bandit on my side account, and Prismatic on my main. With Bandit, I'm currently breeding for specific markings as well, but I just like Prismatic colorbombs of any kind :p

I would highly suggest combo base breeding, especially the black based ones and season based ones
