If you go into crossroads, right above adventuring is search, when you are looking for PvP remember to tick the main male box to ensure that you are seeing mains not sub males. Scroll down to the bottom, there are boxes with the stats labelled above them, at the end is stat total whilst on the opposite side is a scroll down menu, click it to bring up options and select the "no more than" option! Search for something at least 10stats below you if not more so! Certain enemies in explore will have a specific stat compared to your to see who goes first, but other than that, stats other than skill are not really that relevant unless 150+ above yours! A good way to increase PvP chances is to try and train your skill, funnily enough, against other players.

And yes, stats can pass down to cubs to varying degrees, depending on the difference between parents! Certain Mutations have added battle effects on top of appearance!

Ok, thank you. I still don't understand what effect stats have on lionesses. I know high level lionesses apparently do better hunting, but I'm not seeing anything that would indicate their stats play a role.

Stats on lionesses aren't really important,, but they do help with cubs, if a high stat lioness is paired with a high stat stud, the cubs are expected to be higher statted cubs, and once kinged, higher stats help with fighting.

So their useless unless breeding for a king? Which will have a negligible effect and only really serves to attack first in battle?
What's the point of even having stats, then, if the game isn't going to use them?
