As you walked through the desert, you seek fortune from a sparkling oasis. The sand with the heat of a thousand suns burns upon your pads, causing you to stumble. The cool tone of rocks shadowed by large, whispering palms soothes you, and you head eagerly to the pond of bright blue sparkling in the hidden paradise.
As you lower your head to take a sip from the miracle's water, a soft splash brings your attention; A lavish and beautiful calico cat with the tail of a koi and fins of some otherwordly beast is staring at you with wide, captivated, blue eyes on top of a rock poised elegantly in the pond. As she introduces herself as a "Koi-Cat" named Fern, You notice others, all different patterns and shapes, amongst the fauna of the lush vibrant green undergrowth; You have stumbled upon the Koi-Cat's Oasis.

The Koi-Cat's Oasis is a place where creatures known as a Koi-Cats shelter! They come to you expecting a new home, will you give it to them?

Koi-Cats are cute little adopts that started from my design thread, and I decided to merge them into something bigger. They have the form of a cat, but have beautiful lush tails that remind you of a koi or a betta fish, and odd fins running along their spines. They can be any pattern or any color, with the most common being calico and tortoiseshell and the rarest being colorpoint, bengal, etc.

These are an open species! Hell, Koi-Cats are something that has been around for a long time, I just made a slightly altered version as my own. It would be insane to say you can't make your own :)

The rarer the Koi-Cat, the more unique they are and the less likely your gonna see one that looks like it in the shop for a long time. Best get that Koi-Cat while you can!

The calico Koi-Cat who had been your first sight padded up to you, pale icy eyes shining. "Leaving so soon?" She asked in a voice as gentle as the softly wind-tossed ferns around the glade. "You haven't even seen the most special of us yet."

Mythical Koi-Cats are extremely rare. There are none like them. They are nontypical, often with massive flashy fins and colors never seen on another Koi-Cat. They are often massive, triple the size of a normal one, and radiate a power never seen before. Will your test your luck to impress one and take them home?

Fern swishes her long, elegant, tail and nods toward a small shop set up in the corner. Koi-Cats are milling around it like ants, their eyes wide with wonder and excitement. "The Koi Shop is where you could go to buy things to attract a Koi-Cat to you. Perhaps you may even be able to tame a rarer one for the price of a common."
