I've come back after.... god I don't even know how long to play again, and I have forgotten EVERYTHING I knew. What I need most right now, though, is to know if there's some way to check what a specific marking's origin is. For example, right now, I know four markings I want on my king: Red Cheetah Soft White Ghost Feralis Vitiligo 4 Celestial Speckles I know CS is breed-only, because I have lionesses with that in my project den... but maybe I'm just missing obvious stuff, 'cause I can't figure out where to get the rest. Is there a way to check if they can be applied through the Oasis app, are breed only, etc.? 0 players like this post! Like? |

the different tiers indicate where they come from! t2 is breed only, and t6 is rma exclusive. the rest are mostly apps. the wiki has good info about it too! EDIT: t0: ncl markings t1: custom markings t2: breed only t3: event markings t4: rosettes t5: hybrid exclusive t6: rma only 1 player likes this post! Like? Marking tiers are visible now, so you can narrow it down: Tier 0, 1 are applicable through the oasis marking applicator Tier 2 is raffle, so breed only Tier 3 can be applicator, event NCL, or celestial raffle/august savave markings Tier 4 is rosettes Tier 5 is RMA-restricted (markings that CANNOT under any circumstances come from a random marking applicator) and are mostly applicators like gorilla enclave apps, but also include the hybrid mottled markings Tier 6 is RMA-exclusive, markings that can only come from breeding or RMAs. 2 players like this post! @Terrinthia Are rosettes something special? I don't remember anything about those. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Rosettes are a pretty popular marking. somewhat due to the difficulty in obtaining them and somewhat due to the pleasing shape on a lion. I don't know exactly what makes them liked to everyone who does like them, but I think it's mostly those reasons. Double rosettes and triple rosettes are sought after by plenty of players as well, and the price of them tends to grow exponentially depending on the number of rosettes on a lion. You can use two ochre gnawrocks (breeding item to guarantee one marking passes from each parent) in a breeding to guarantee double rosettes, so they're on the cheaper end. Triple rosettes require a bit of luck. Quad requires even more luck. Beyond that, people typically use RMAs for 5+ rosettes. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Huh, so they got so popular they're kind of their own tier. THat's neat! Thank you~ 0 players like this post! Like? |

I believe they were their own tier before that, since their pass rate has been different from every other marking (except hybrid exclusives, I think they're about the same as rosettes) forever. 0 players like this post! Like? |
