This was an issue back in early 2020 when Covid had just started and was really tearing the world apart. People named their lions after the virus as a joke and a lot of players (including myself) found it.. in poor taste. While I agree that lions can be an outlet for many things, I don’t really think they should be able to be named racial slurs.

ETA: it might be hard to implement this as an actual game feature because “A.I.” is considered a slur by that resource but is also a really common acronym people use now.

There's already this suggestion, but I support; as international player, I cannot be aware of all slur words. I once accidentally named lion a slur because it was a swahili word, and I had no idea it was a slur. An automatic filter "you cant put that in lion name" would be very, very helpful.

Well, no other language than English is to be spoken here, right? I don't quite know how it'd be handled either, but most Spanish people I know are aware that it's a slur in English So I'm guessing there'd be some kind of awareness amongst other Spanish speakers.

It's literally the color black in Spanish.

I can see this being somewhat of an issue - some slurs can be used for different meanings. I'd add that it only applies to the obvious slurs that aren't used for *anything* else. It could start some obscure heated arguments among the LD community if they can't name their lions after some stuff that just so happened to be a slur.

Well, I mainly intend to outlaw things like "faggot" or "tranny", or whatever just falls in the main english category, so I think it was kind of wrong to start about Spanish words all of a sudden.
