So… Let’s chat about June.

important ideas in bold. If you want to see just that, look for bold stuff!

SPOILERS: This is where you will find mock-up of quest texts/dialogue

SUGGESTION 1:


Make the chosen God offer easy, medium, and difficult level quests with differing reward levels, and allow the player to choose the difficulty.

Easy quests could be 10-12 enemies max, maybe even an option to choose what enemies you get.

Medium quests could be 12-16 enemies, no option to choose.

Difficult quests could be 18-20 enemies, no option to choose, and highest reward. Most likely only event/slithering enemies.



Cultist Quests!!
The cultist quest can appear randomly in easy and medium difficulties, and the cultist quest will require going to player dens. You will catch the cultists in the act doing shady stuff instead of in explore.



This would help newer/lower level kings be able to fight enough enemies and get a reward without using all their daily energy to fight 20 enemies and if they can’t, paying SB to switch quests.

Difficult quests should get a reward of at least double the reward now, so 20KB for completion.


SUGGESTION 2:


Make the Gods more like the November Shamans, but still with a storyline ending reward base app for only one God.

The quests the Gods offer could be collecting items, such as event-only items like:
- Slithering eyes
- Slithering scales
- Slithering bones
- Slithering spine
- Slithering fangs
- Slithering tail
Or herbs, craftables, etc.

Could do 2 quests per day, varying rewards based on if it’s a fighting quest or a gathering quest. Could also double them up: “Please kill 10 slithering minions and bring back the rewards” ie.

Possibly include bringing them items for harder quests that require “slithering ___” crafted into something else, sort of like November rawhides.

Quests to bring food, herbs, event craftables (see the “slithering” items suggestion above), or even fodder lions for building an army to fight Apophis.



So.. what about other stuff?


In conclusion, my suggestion is solely about the quest aspect of the month. I do not know how the shops/decor would be reworked with the second suggestion, but with the first suggestion it would stay all the same: you pick one God, you can light the incense, etc. The ONLY thing that's different is the aspect of being able to choose quest difficulty, kind of like the Gorilla. I do think that it would be refreshing and interesting if the second option were implemented, but I doubt it will be, or that either of these ideas will be used at all.

I really agree with this, I never have time to complete the 20 enemy quest and it's very annoying!

For folks who don’t play literally for hours every day, or use energy boosts, i’m sure it is a challenging quest. I have a 3k stat queen and still get my butt handed to me in explore, and I play literally all day.

The quests were really strange on this one. I liked the simple versions that the previous month had. Defeat 10 of something I think was the max. I like the finding the statue, and the eggs, and beating up the snake lions, but the 20 enemies, and the non-lion felines are so hard to find depending on which locations you have available.

Love the tiered quest ideas, could even be based on your lions stat group are the options available. Like how we did the championship. 0-300 have quests 1-5, 300-500 have 1-10, nad 500+ could have one of 20 optional quests (or maybe include one regular quest and one crafting quest, crafting could relate to the little extra god we find in the temple, maybe he asks for things to be built for him).

Like wouldnt it be cute, for example I have chosen Bast. the story could read "I need you to find all 5 eggs and destroy them." and then the other quest is "so and so needs your help, he is looking for slithering scales to make himself some armor, can you find 10 for him" very Wenet vibes tho. I loved that quest line and story line that was the most fun thus far since my return in April.

I think I'm coming at it from different angle since my biggest annoyance is having to reset the quest to find the slithering minions quest. For quests that have event currency from battles I absolutely would not waste a single % on any that don't drop it. Having the option to chose quests that deal specifically in those opponents would be amazing, because if I don't have the currency to change the quest I simply do not complete it.
