So I've noticed there are items to pass a certain marking, remove it, or even duplicate the appearance of another lion, but there is nothing to change marking slots. I propose another suggestion, a marking slot changer. Sometimes you get a lovely mark, only for it to be in slot 1 and be covered by every other mark. There's also the economic issue of insane stud fees only due to the stud being the only one with that specific mark in a specific slot, so why not be able to change marking slots? This does not damage the rarity of the mark, while also providing a QOL increase. |

This has been suggested before, and I still dont support it. Some markings are released in certain slots to be rare and an item that can change markings to other slots will remove the purpose of rare slots. which slot a marking is in is actually a part of the value for many players, hence why some studs that have the marking in a rarer slot are more expensive. while it can definitely be frustrating, it isn’t automatically a “bug” of the system, it’s more a feature. many people have projects around getting specific markings into specific slots. essentially, the rarity of a marking is not only measured by what type of marking it is, so an item like this would impact things. 1 player likes this post! No support. Rare marking slots make high value kings. Being able to change the slots WOULD damage the markings value. If you want a marking in a rare slot, you have to cough up the cash for the stud fees or buy a lion with the marking or RMA til you get it. A mechanic like you suggested would remove a lot of the time, money, and effort that people go through to create high-value kings. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

No support, Hybrid exclusive markings (like mottled rosette and mottled stripes) can only appear in certain slots. Mottled rosette only appears on slot 6, while mottled stripes appears on slot 8. I don’t think the developers want that to change. (RMAs and total shuffles can’t add hybrid markings.) 1 player likes this post! Like? |
