Better chances all really lie down to RNG even still with the small boosts, but things like VLF Lionesses (1% being best supposedly), CRBs, Lion Meats, and GMO Cows are really a help! If you CRB a lioness, you can still stack a lion meat OR GMO Cow on top of it after she's been CRBed. There is a tiny chance that the CRB will 'roll' if the GMO or Lion Meat has rolled, therefore boosting the 'rarity' of the mutation. Otherwise, GMO/LM roll first, so even without the CRB taking affect, you'll still get something. If it doesn't roll, there's also still the chance for the CRB to roll by itself, so it's a little bit of a 'safeguard.' None of the exact rates to trigger these affect have been stated, but they all are factors that will help. :3 I've used ~2200 CRBs that I can count, as well as a chunk of GMOs + Lion Meats. I haven't gotten a Tigon yet, but the best thing to do is keep trying. :3 0 players like this post! Like? |

RNG is random number generator - it is basically the way 'random' factors are 'rolled' in the game. Imagine like rolling a dice! If there's a 25% chance something will roll, it would have to roll something like 75-100 to pass. But even if you roll one 100 times, there's a chance you won't ever land on those numbers! It's just the method in which effects occur, and the chance for something to happen. VLF = very low fertility. There have been cases, albeit very rare ones, that tigons happen from a random mom with no items used. This tends to be more common (though it again as a whole is very rare!) with lionesses with lower fert. The lower, the better for random breeding. So 1% has a better chance at rolling a mutation than, say, a lioness with 53% fertility for example. Rolling usually is referring to RNG happening and in which order. Rolling first means the chance for it to happen will go first. So it's like again rolling those dice! If you breed a CRBed Lioness with a GMO eaten to a Piebald stud, for example, Piebald 'rolls' first. So when the cub is being generated by whatever hidden mechanics there are, there will be 'rolls' for chances in what may happen. Piebald will go first, so if the cub does not 'roll' for successfully having Piebald, the next thing on the list happens next: GMO Cow. This behind the scenes roll will happen because Piebald did not occur in this specific cub. If it is successful, then another 'hidden die' is rolled for the CRB to up the mutation's rarity. Since mutations are one-only (aka you can't have a piebald primal), it just happens in order. Rolling is just referring to these effects happening with those imaginary dice. (Or like pulling names out of a hat, even!) 0 players like this post! Like? |
