I was looking through the news post again and saw that this is one of the items required for the interstellar markings applicator. I attempted to look online to find how a player can get ionized plankton but didn’t find anything on it. Is there anyone who knows how to get it? I’m not sure if it’s an explore random drop or if there is something that has to be triggered to get it.  0 players like this post! Like? |

I’ve been exploring in the veil nebula enough to get the shop unlocked and so far I haven’t gotten any :( not sure if it’s bad rng or not since the wiki hasn’t been updated yet? 0 players like this post! Like? |

I found a few encounters in the veil nebula that give ionized plankton. The drawback is that they only seem to give 1-2 at a time and don’t seem to be very common unless you skip most of the fights. 0 players like this post! Like? |

They drop at non-fight encounters when choosing the right option. They only give 1-2 IP at a time and they seem to be kinda rare... I have managed to get about 4 in a day and I used around 200 Meteorite Shards... 0 players like this post! Like? |

Plankton is rare to find, but you DONT need to miss fights to get it. Remember, you dont need normal energy to explore there, only meteorite shards! You can - and should - explore with 0 normal energy left, it then wont take away your normal energy when you win/loose. Every step takes 3 shards, and it does not take any more if you take a battle, so fight all enemies you see, just be on lookout not to skip non-fighting encounters. I collected about 20 plankton, but I have been through over 500 shards by now  3 players like this post! Like? |
