THIS IS MISTRESS ALEX'S RP!! NOT MINE!If you were in the old Shadow high RP, use the characters you had originally. I'll try to copy paste the old html and stuff from the old one. Credits to Mistress Alex! RULES 1. No hating on people for lgbt or not being white 2. No spam 3. Rp reply = more then 2-3 words 4. Don’t be overpowered you no fun cabbage 5. Hate the oc not the person 6. Don't make the rp all about you, where nobody can do/say anything 7. MOST IMPORTANTLY: DONT STEAL THE RPROLES + OTHER Student - Ages 16-18 Teacher - Ages 25+ Sophomore - Age: 16 Junior - Age: 16-17 Senior - Age: 17-18 This IS a public rp! Anyone can join! MAIN LORE: Shadow High was created in 1996 originally to contain and train supernatural creatures to stay away from humans, blend in with them, and not cause conflict. In 1999 it was changed to just a normal high school that anyone could attend when the original people who opened the school mysteriously died and it got new owners. How the original owners died is a big topic spread around the school but the teachers can and will punish anyone who mentions it. The school is a two story building with the second story now blocked off as ‘employees only’. The students are starting to wonder what’s up there. PLOT: It’s 2009 and a new school year is starting. This year a lot of kids have moved from elsewhere, and the teachers are keeping a closer eye then ever on the kids. But who doesn’t love the first day of a new school? That's fine. Take your time with it and be descriptive. Get to know your character. I'm so used to roleplaying as animals. I'm trying to get the hang of human rp) Dakota skimmed over his books. The top folder read schedule, something he hadn't dared to look at yet. His classes started tomorrow. Today was a day to 'meet peers and roam the halls.' He reached forward fingers plucking at the edge of the folders spine. His final decision was to pick up the stack and stand up. Shuffling around the chair, Dakota hip scooted it in and made his way to the library's entrance. His locker was found not too far away. Placing his items in the confines of the box, Dakota locked them away and slide towards the nearest restroom. His head stayed low, eyes following the corner of the wall and the floor only ever peeking up to read the signs on the doors. Once plaque signaled bathroom, he nudged the door open and slid inside. He had decided he could splash his face and make a game plan. That was before his eyes met the dark haired pale boy across the line up of sinks from him. 0 players like this post! :0 that's the most inspiring thing i've ever heard abt rp// zuri noticed dakota but didn't say anything, he tied up his hair so it wouldn't get in the way and messed around with one of his necklaces that had had gotten caught in his hair, muttering in annoyance cos it wouldn't get unstuck. he eventually gave up and took a hit on one of his vapes 0 players like this post! That's a really good reply! :) Dakota nearly sighed in relief as the stranger barely acknowledged his presence. Instead, he chose the sink furthest away and turned to the mirror. His arms helped him lean on the edge of the wash basin. He was good, keeping to himself, until the scent of the vape hit his nose. He couldn't hide the slight scrunch that rose with his disgust towards the device. The emotion even came with its own remark. "You- you know those aren't good for your health, right?" Dakota blinked in shock. His gaze flashed from the mirror to the opposite wall that Zuri stood beside. He had no say in what was said it simply just came out. Each word that was said stuck like a barb. There was no doubt he'd keep that in mind. He silently scolded himself for speaking so rudely. That was no way to achieve the one thing he was here for. No friendship started with pointing out the others flaws. Ears pinned back, Dakota turned back to face Zuri. "I apologize. It's just-" He stopped himself there as he watched the other student fiddle with the thin metal. A little lever in the back of his mind flipped. Now that could be a way. "Do you want, help, with that?" By the looks of it the struggle simply made the others stress run high. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Shuffling closer to Zuri, Dakota took the jewelry in gentle fingers attempting to tease the hair from its tangle. After much consideration, he decided to keep the silence from settling. "Is it important to you? The necklace?" Normally when somebody wore a pendant it meant something to them. Out of curiosity he just had to ask as the knot finally came loose and the chain fell from its taut position. Dakota backed up tilting his head slightly. 0 players like this post! I'm back! Friday was crazy >~< Dakota hummed lightly. His reaction to his own reply could have been for many reasons. He decided to place that to the side and nod his head briefly. For once a conversation was going right. "I'm Dakota! It's my first day so I'm still settling in." His bright gaze flickered to Zuri's. "What's yours? Have you been here long? You seem comfortable with the place." He didn't mean to be rushed about it, he really just wanted to learn more about the school. Their papers were quite vague. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Dakota nearly huffed out a bit of laughter. What a funny thing to suggest that he'd even like it here. It was technically day zero at the third high school he had attempted to fit in to. But, maybe there was hope. Zuri was nice, so far, perhaps the other students would be the same! "Yeah, I'll try to." A light smile was given back as he backed up a bit more. "It was nice meeting you but I don't want to stop you from getting to class." He didn't know when classes started but it could probably be soon. He glanced once more into the mirror beside him before hurrying towards the exit. He stuck to the halls wall as he followed Zuri. "Wait, you're skipping class? Won't you get in trouble?" His voice was now lowered as if not wanting to spread a terrible secret. He had only even skipped a class once with a group of other kids.
