**NOTE:
I might rewrite this forum in the future to be clearer. I will keep the old forum intact at the bottom as a spoiler, but for clarification purposes I really think I could explain better than this!

Extremely new to posting on the forums, so I hope I've done everything correctly and that this IS actually a new topic... here goes!

My suggestion(s) are as follows:
- item bundles (bundles that are reserved for items, non-tradable/non-giftable)
- recipe bundles (bundles that follow a selected crafting recipe)

My main problem is that burying every item I want to store only seems to create a second messy hoard for me. I usually only bury applicators and less-common items that I don't want to waste on amusement, so having a second place to prevent myself from using up materials I want to craft with would really help me (and others) stay organized. Goodie bags could work, but then I wouldn't know what's in each of them unless I name them accordingly (which is a pain), and even if I could, they only hold 10 items at a time.

So, perhaps there could be spot underneath the currency bundles in the "bundles" tab where we could create and edit a bundle of items to help neatly save for certain crafting recipes? I personally like saving up crafting items when they're on their last use, but when I collect enough 1-use items, I then have to unbury them, and they're mixed in with all of my full-use items again (and sadly, Monkey Business doesn't let me know which items are being used for the recipes, so I end up crafting with full-use items...).

But this suggestion doesn't really solve the whole "mixed in with full-use items" issue, does it? So perhaps we could have recipe-based bundles, where you could fill out selected recipes and craft straight from the bundle itself.

Players could select the recipe from Monkey Business and choose a "create recipe bundle" option that creates a recipe bundle under the "bundles" tab (or even somewhere in Monkey Business, like an "in-progress recipes" tab) where you could store the items required and work towards completing the recipe seperately from their buried valuables. Once all requirements are met, a "Craft!" button could appear at the bottom, completing the recipie and giving the result.

These suggestions are rough ideas, of course, but I'd love to see what other players think about it! Maybe there are some issues my suggestions don't address; if that's the case, please do add on!

Edit: I found a similar post created by Zero #40646 requesting item bundles, thought I'd mention it since I feel I added more to their initial concept <3
Edit: Added a note at the top of the forum!

This suggestion has 32 supports and 4 NO supports.

I don't see how this is different than goodie bags, so I do not support.

Thank you for the feedback! I'll try to communicate my idea better :)

My main problem with goodie bags is that A) it only holds 10 items B) you can't see what those items are, and C) you have to unwrap the ENTIRE bag to edit what is inside them. Unlike goodie bags, item bundles would allow a seperate compartment for users to store their items aside safely without mixing them all in with eachother by burying it all, which is the only option we currently have. I hope that explains my thoughts better! Thanks again for replying <3

i agree with adam, this just sounds like goodie bags. if you want to only use items with one use for crafting, just bury the full use items.

Thanks for replying! I appreciate your feedback <3

My main issue with burying the full use items is that I have to unbury items every time I wish to use them (and knowing me, I might accidentally use up my 1 use items if they aren't stored safely). Even if I do get by this, I still have no choice but to sift through all my 1 use items to find the full use items I unburied, which is the same reason I'd like to have an option to store items seperately than the buried hoard in the first place.

I can't speak for mobile players (because I'm not one), but I can only assume it's even more frustrating for people who prefer mobile to constantly bury and unbury just to keep their items safe and organized. Of course, this is just my take! Thanks for sharing! :)

I play primarily mobile, but also use computer as well sometimes, and on both of them i have no issues burying/unburying, so im not sure what you mean by that. you can just bury the items you do not want to use, craft what youd like, and unbury them. to me at least, that is fairly simple and easy to do on all devices. It seems silly for developers to waste time adding something that is basically already in game with minor tweaks allowing you to do things that you can already do without said item.

Fair enough! I can see what you mean, but I still feel players would benefit better from a system where certain items can be buried together (like having all 1-use items together, or keeping specific items for a crafting recipe buried together), rather than having to choose between keeping it in one of two big (and messy) piles.

full support. I have ten different goodie bags buried for november crafting. Personally, they're all gems I wouldn't accidentally use elsewhere, but its maddening to have to bury hundreds of items before I craft just to make sure I don't accidentally use the wrong ones. Even if the monkey would at least let us select our crafting items from a dropdown, I would be a much happier lad...

Would it not just make more sense to make a suggestion asking for the item limit in a goodie bag to be increased/removed?
They're not allowed to be trades/sold anymore, only used as gifts so no risk of funnelling etc anymore.

Interesting point!

In my opinion, the current goodie bag system is actually fine on its own! Asking for an increased item limit for goodie bags would technically work, but my issue is that I wouldn't be able to easily add/remove from it (which, in hindsight, I should've clarified a bit better, consdiering you can't with normal bundles anyway). Having to redo the whole bag again can get a bit tedious, especially for crafting materials like herbs which are distributed quite often. Not to mention the limit would have to be pretty high for certain recipes (bismuth eye applicator, I'm looking at you )

I think if your suggestion came true, however, I'd be able to settle for that! I just feel like I need SOMEWHERE to pile these different items together safely, and maybe using the Organization tab with an increased goodie bag limit would do that! Thank you for your insight :)

Editable Goodie Bags could be done, the same way you can edit your hunting parties I suppose!
I doubt there would be much coding difference tbh!

I would hope so! I know very little about coding, but I don't think it would be too big of a task, and it would really help me organize my hoard!
