EVENT TIPS & TRICKS
Welcome to the "Advices and Tips thread! In this forum we will share tips and advices on how to get the maximum out of all lioden Events! We mostly focus on getting currency so most of our tips will be related to that topic so we encourage everyone to participate and share more tips or advices based on your own experience.


AUGUST EVENT

Tip 1: Make sure to look up beforehand which shop ( The Preserver or The Destroyer) you want to open. For that just go to and take a look at the items you can buy in both shops. On either shop the "fake manes" are the most desired items so we would advice you to buy the one that you like the most, (use the wardrobe to see how they would look on your king or lionesses).

Tip 2: "Stick to your shop" during this event you will get Good or Evil points depending on your choices during explore, and that will decide which shop will open for you individually once your reach 300 points either good or evil . This means if you don't stick to Good or Evil you won't open any shop because you will be gaining and losing points at the same time. Example if I gain +20 Good points and + 12 Evil points during explore, I will be left with only +8 Good points overall.

Tip 3: "Use your side account wisely" There are 2 choices and 2 accounts so use them! You can easily open both shops if you just choose one account for Good and th other for Evil and stick with it. For me I make the choice based on Karma my main has Bad Karma so he will open the Evil shop while my Side has Good Karma so he will be the Good shop. Tip 4: "Dry Bones" This Event is kind of misleading the main focus are the individual shops and Carrion Beetles BUT the reality is that the Nice stuff is in The Pedler shop which uses Dry bones as a currency. Don't worry you will get Dry bones during explore but you have to make sure to chooce the correct answer so look up the encounters in Click here
The Pedler has 2 amazing items Grains of paradise which assures you get at least 2 cubs and Buffalo scrotum which assures at least 3 cubs. This two items are used to breed muties or pass mutations so they are also really expensive, the first one goes for 7 GB each, and the second one "the Buffy" goes for at least 30 GB each. So get your dry bones and try to buy at least one of them!

Tip 5: "Minigames" Use this event special Minigame Fire escape to win some Dry Bones and Carrion Beetles. Try to reach at least 4000 points so you get around 50 CB and 30 Dry Bones.

Tip 6: "Don't use if Don't know" If you get your hands in some good breeding items like the Buffalo scrotum, the Grain or even the Lion scrotum, which has a really small chance of appearing during explore, DON'T USE THEM, keep them if you are a newbie. This items are really valuable, other players, mostly veterans are always searching to trade things for them, making money is first the special lions will come when that's done.

Tip 7: "August Bases" During this event the only chance of getting a new special base/markings is breeding to a special stud called "Savage studs". Our advice for newbies would be to use them with caution and only with Carrion Beetles. The bases are not that popular overall, and the stud fee is high, so don't waiste your Dry bones! , once you have bought some manes and decor from the Good/Evil shop use the remaining CB to try for a base or markings if you really want to.
