Yeah depending on if your on phone or computer if you click on the image of the item it should tell the items details same as if you hovered a mouse over the picture of the item. It gives an item description which will usually tell you if it's a base applicator or not.

Okay I'm on mobile currently as well but have access to a laptop so I switch. I tested this out and it worked for me I don't know if it'll work for you but we're going to try.

This it's a trade with the app that you're looking for when you click on the trade and if you click directly on the app there's a little window kind of thing that pops up with a description of the app. I can't really do pictures otherwise I would have a picture for you to show you.
Make sure you click on the picture of the applicator because if you click anywhere else it will not pop up that little window that gives you an item description.
