In the game there are 7 tiers of markings: Tier 0: Common NCL + rolled king markings, RMAable Tier 1: Custom markings from the Oasis marking app, RMAable Tier 2: BO markings from raffle lionesses, RMAable Tier 3: Event applicable markings, event BO markings, Piety markings & exclusive BO NCL markings, RMAable Tier 4: Rosettes, RMAable Tier 5: Hybrid markings, Gorilla Enclave applicable markings, & newly released T3 markings, not RMAable Tier 6: RMA exclusive markings As you can see, there's a big problem with this tier system: there are too many different types of markings in certain tiers, especially tier 3. There are significant differences in the ways event BO markings, Piety markings, & applicator markings work that are obscured by them being in the same tier and BO T3 markings work exactly like T2 markings, which can confuse players who may need to know what they can do with any of these markings. Tier 5 also has similar problems: aside from not being RMAable, there's not much in common between hybrid marks, GE app marks, & newly released marks that would otherwise belong elsewhere. Instead, there should be more tiers to address this, and clear up any confusion. Other players have suggested an overhaul, and I'm one of them, so here are my proposals. System 1: Tier 0: Common NCL + rolled king markings, RMAable Tier 1: Custom markings from the Oasis marking app, RMAable Tier 2: Event applicable markings, RMAable Tier 3: Gorilla Enclave applicable markings, not RMAable Tier 4: Piety markings, RMAable Tier 5: BO markings from raffle lionesses, Celestial lionesses, August studs, & non-Piety NCL exclusives, RMAable Tier 6: Rosettes, RMAable Tier 7: Hybrid markings, not RMAable Tier 8: RMA exclusive markings Tier X: Newly released markings, not RMAable System 2: Tier 0: Common NCL + rolled king markings, RMAable Tier 1: Custom markings from the Oasis marking app, RMAable Tier 2: Event applicable markings, RMAable Tier 3: Gorilla Enclave applicable markings, not RMAable Tier 4: Piety markings, RMAable Tier 5: BO markings from raffle lionesses, Celestial lionesses, August studs, & non-Piety NCL exclusives, RMAable Tier 6: RMA exclusive markings Tier 7: Rosettes, RMAable Tier 8: Hybrid markings, not RMAable Tier X: Newly released markings, not RMAable System 3: Tier 0: Common NCL + rolled king markings, RMAable Tier 1: Custom markings from the Oasis marking app, RMAable Tier 2: Event applicable markings & Gorilla Enclave applicable markings, RMAable Tier 3: Piety markings, RMAable Tier 4: BO markings from raffle lionesses, Celestial lionesses, August studs, & non-Piety NCL exclusives, RMAable Tier 5: RMA exclusive markings Tier 6: Rosettes, RMAable Tier 7: Hybrid markings, not RMAable Tier X: Newly released markings, not RMAable It would be nice to specify which version you prefer when commenting. Also, you can suggest tweaks to any version of the overhauled system <3 |

I like system 3! I like the idea of a 'tier X'. It clearly marks something that's new/unusual and separating these marks and hybrid markings from the gorilla enclave tier means we might actually be able to RMA gorilla markings. I like the idea of placing event applicators with enclave applicators because I think all the applicator markings could exist in one tier. There are also limited release applicators (new year's) that are arguably not part of any of the monthly events, and applicable markings as well. Flood pit, too. I really like placing all the BO markings together as well, would make it a LOT easier to explain to people which markings are BO if they all belonged in T4. Much love for including the NCL year-round BOs, they're some of the hardest to notice among everything else in the existing T3. Overall really solid. 0 players like this post! Like? |
