There are probably some base suggestions like this out there, but this one is a personal one of mine.
BASE IDEA: TORTOISESHELLCombo Base Factors: Basalt + Meteorite + Mobola OR Shedua + Abyssinan + Honey + Ripe Genetics: Golden Dark Solid Special  BASE UNLINED BASE BASE WITH PIEBALD (MOSAIC)This base was inspired by the coat of my former cat, Molly, who passed away in 2020. She lived to be 19 years old, and was there for my whole childhood. I miss her every day, and I wanted to make a tribute for her in my own way. Rest easy, girl.  This is Molly with her sister, Greta. This base was made personally, and I wanted to share it. Thank you, everyone. Feedback is much appreciated.   |

I like the idea but I think the colors are too blended. Calico and tortoiseshell are both xx linked color patterns where the full color of both (or all three in calicos case) genes are expressed and that leads to the patches. If it’s blended like that then it’s not very tortoiseshell colored, it’s just a brown and orange base. I would also not add white if you redesign, since if there is a noticeable amount it’s technically calico rather then tortie. 1 player likes this post! Like? |
