I'd really recommend playing minigames, most specifically Serengetti Shuffle and Reptile Roundup.

In serengetti shuffle, for a score of 3500, you get a chance to get better prizes, the best of which are black stallion (which usually sells for 2gb); dove feast (1-2gb); honey comb (which also usually sells for 2gb) and lastly, giant torts (who also usually sell 1gb or more, depending on time). 

In reptile roundup, depending on your score, you get access to certain prizes, which are sadly very random, so for a score of 100, you can get a carcass, but you also get a chance to win a background that you can then sell for 2-3gb, depending on how long you want to wait.

Make a hunting party of five and send them out as often as you have time. All the extra food that you have from hunts, you can either sell to monkey businesses or on trading center for a bigger profit but a longer wait time to sell. Example: 100 uses of food usually go for 1gb.

Energy recharges every 2 hours, so I'd also recommend exploring as much as you can, if you have time of course. You get a bunch of event currency, exp from battles, and other random finds useful for your pride. If you level up fast, you're going to get higher stats, and with that, instead of opting to buy territory, you will be able to easily fight for it with other players.

Collect as many drybones as you can, and use those to buy either a buffy or gop. After buying those, I'd recommend waiting a month or two; after this event, you should be able to sell the buffy (buffalo scrotum) for 25-30gb and gop(grain of paradise) for around 10(?)gb.

Lastly, don't focus on mainly earning sb and gb from lions. It's pretty unstable market and not really a reliable source of income.

The higher the score on Serengeti Shuffle the better. If you get 4000+ or past 5,000 you also have a chance to get 400 SB, new decors that may sell for some GB and a chance for a black stallion or giant tortoise that you can sell for GB as the person above mentioned. I'm really good at the game so I've seen 5000+ before.

But be careful, you can also get some less valuable items from Serengeti Shuffle as well. It's mostly chance, so good prizes are not guaranteed.

For easy SB, you can also sell extra food to the mandrill as well as extra toys that you don't need. Lion skulls, Elephant skulls are excellent ways to get SB, especially if you have a lot of them. Don't rely entirely on the mini games.
