This suggestion is for a new breeding item called Lion's Ear, which is a plant from the mint family native to South Africa. This item would slightly (maybe 10%) boost the chances of the parent's mane shape passing onto cubs. It'd work the same as salts and saltlicks in the studding dropdown or it could be given to a lioness instead. It cannot be stacked. If it was given to both parents in a breeding, it'd work like salts do - it'd only affect one parent, not both, and would carry onto the other's next breeding instead. This item would be obtainable in the oasis for 1GB, as the chance increase is quite small and it doesn't affect the chances of the mane colour passing either. This item would be helpful for folks trying to breed high quality lions and BO projects. It would also indirectly affect breeding for mane imperial, as it might give more royal cubs in a litter and this means more chances for imperial to roll, but it likely wouldn't be a huge difference especially as imperials haven't been as valuable as they used to be in a long time. Let me know if this is something you'd like to see! |

Would it be like a budget, mane-shape-only version of the Ochre Saltlick? 2 players like this post! Like? |

I actually like this idea! I like the idea of possibly breeding down event-exclusive manes, it might make it easier for newer players too (or players who breed for specific mane-types)! Edit: Ironic that I got the 13th vote for yes on this lmaoooo 1 player likes this post! Like? Edited on 31/08/23 @ 12:40:40 by Recon (taylor's version) (#426904) |

Yeah, sorta! Kind of like how gop is the cheaper buffy, but the difference in price is much bigger because Lion's Ear gives no guarantees and only a small increase chance, while Ochres are 100%. 2 players like this post! Like? |
