When it comes to events, get those applicators. Their worth a lot. Also the wiki is your best friend, and can help you get necessary materials before an event. For example, underbrush, large rocks, and lion skulls are going to be very expensive during September. But, GMO cows and Gnawrocks will be cheaper. Bury your money, it's easier to save. Also, I would recommend feeding your pride on a schedule. So, feed and play all fully one day, then you don't have to worry about it the next. And finally, claim all NCL's. Theres a chance it's a chased lioness (I've gotten ones with special bases before and BO marks) or has CRB on.

I recommend feeding on every third day to save up on food and time, especially if your pride side grows. So feed when their hunger is 60%. I also recommend changing your king's personality to Loner, so everyone in your pride loses only 5% of mood in the rollover, so it takes much less time and item uses to keep your pride happy. I play with everyone who is under 70%, since you get 30% amusement for every item use.

For feeding I use only big carcasses with 60% refill (ie. elephant calf carcass, wildebeest carcass, zebra carcass) so everyone is happy with one food usage, which saves time and maximises the food item's usage. Plus you can easily sell the extra food to get SB.

I recommend checking wiki for all events when they start and during them. You can see which items you get during the events where you have to choose side or specific character plus you can see where to get everything and for what. Stocking up on breeding items and marking/base applicators is good way to get a lot of money when few months have passed from the event. ^^

ETA: I recommend making a side account if you don't already have one. Yes, to some playing with two accounts is hard or they don't have the energy/time, etc. to do so, but I still recommend creating one. If you are active on both accounts, you can grind so much more event currency, which gets you much more currency when you sell. You can also grind for better Gorilla enclave rewards faster since you can now send its currency from your account to your other one. And even if you don't play much with the account, you can still use it to freeze lions and items, like rotting egg yolks, so they don't age as long as you don't RO.

I am keeping all my lions clean and having a second king makes it easier to do so. I can stud my main king Natsu's (this account) daughters to my side king Zeref and vice versa, so it saves from most of the stud fees I would have with only one king. Plus I love keeping two kings to get as much different cubs as I can, since sometimes it gets really boring with one kind of cubs I sometimes get in row. Yes, taking care of two big prides (I have a total of 200 lion slots, but I permanently keep at max 70-80 lions per account) can be hard sometimes, but I also know that if I don't have time, I can just not do RO on my side to save time/energy, etc. Yeah it has taken years and years for me to learn how to make juggling LD fit my yearly changing schedule (I started in 2015 when I was starting high school, now I am third year student in university and worked for few years between schools) and yes I have taken year long hiatus at few points, but it has been worth it. ^^

This might sound a little grim, but adding on to the feeding stuff, don't feed cubs and adols. They won't run, and you'll save a good amount of resources.

I personally use Feed All Play All because I'm a lazy bastard and I enjoy being able to save my skulls and feathers. I hoard the feathers and sell the skulls for thousands of SB every month. It pays for itself if you play right. It all depends on your play style though if FAPA is a good choice.

Evil karma tends to be the more lucrative option due to Explore encounters.

My personality of choice is Hyperactive—you get a 30% energy boost on top of the daily refill. Both of my accounts have it so I get an extra free 60% per day. That adds up with grindy events like this!

User guides are really helpful—don't be afraid to take a browse and read the ones that pique your interest.

Don't waste sb checking cubs for adult mutations unless you used a breeding item during the breeding of them its just a waste to do so otherwise. If you mass breed buy auto nesting 15 gb for 30 days of automatic nesting is a whole lot cheaper than buying nesting materials for 20 plus females.

Always view the lionesses you encounter in explore before fighting they may be a chased.

Collect gems they may seem like trash at first but they can be used in crafting same for herbs

Check the raffle pages often for raffles with good prizes but cheap tickets then buy as many as you can until it ends for best chance at winning

Make sure any item you don't want to accidentally lose through entering a raffle is buried you get no confirmation message before hand no matter what the item is.

If you want a hybrid save money or event items until February they are the cheapest that month than any other.

For better personal enjoyment don't try to make your king the hottest on the site its too expensive and you'll never make everyone else happy anyway so just make him how you like him

Check tc and branch sales for items you want to buy but aren't currently available and compare prices before buying

Check what is available year round in monkey business or oasis some people buy these common items and list them for 3x the price in branches and tc

Double check each trade before you buy it and if you have any questions about mutations check the wiki

Read the weekly news to help stay on top of things

If you find yourself getting annoyed at another player just block them don't waste your time arguing with them.

If you play during the December event join gifting/pooping forum games (it'll make sense during the event I promise )
