does the use of mutation odd increasing items work for specific pies?

for example if i use gmo cow on a pie girl will that increase the chance of her cubs being pies or will it only increase the chances for other random mutations?

also besides breeding a pie girl with a pie stud is there any way to increase the odds of getting pie cubs besides lion scrotums (does that work? im not sure about that either)?
