This is definitely something that someone has to have mentioned at least once already, but I'd love to be able to delete messages I've sent in chat, or at least be able to edit them The amount of times I had a bit of a pea-brain moment and posted about selling/giving away something only to forget the link and not be able to delete it is astounding to say the least. While yeah, you can double check your messages before sending them, it'd still be a nice quality of life adjustment that'd come in handy in some scenarios. |

The amount of times I've had some lag and thus accidentally posted a sales ad in main or a chat post in sales is...yikes. Full support. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The amount of times I've linked a cave in giveaways with a sales advert and not been able to take it back is ridiculous. I'd be down for this. 0 players like this post! Like? |

The issue with this is that mods need to be able to keep track of messages for, well, moderating purposes. For example if someone sends a slur and deletes it quickly (I've seen some shit here... I know there are filters but people get creative) modbox needs access to the message because the person still needs to be moderated. If there was a way to store these messages for moderating purposes without beating up the server, I think it'd be a good idea. Obviously then I don't think they should take action if you accidentally advertise in main chat and then delete it real fast. You took care of it yourself. Only if you clearly make a habit of it. Which they already do, basically? Just without being able to delete your own message. 6 players like this post! Like? |
