Lion scrotum only has a chance to pass down the specific mutation the mother has. It's 25% per cub (except for DU which is only 5%).

The exact chances of success per cub with GMO are not publicly released, so we don't know for sure. But generally thought to be 50% or over, so the highest odds of the ordinary mut breeding items. However, if successful the mutation the cub gets is random, and most likely to be something common like achromia or mane muts.

So which item is better depends on what muties you're breeding for - and what lioness you're using them on.
