Name: Vanoss Renfrewyd

Gender: Male
Features: Vanoss is a tad taller yet leaner than the average of his kind. With a brownish-orange pelt and feathers of a similar hue, he was a warm, hazel color contrasted by a pair of bright blue eyes and white undersides. Patches of feathers run along his neck, legs, and tail, with a few sitting atop his head just behind his black-tipped ears. The wings attached to his arms faded into ebony talons.

In his human form, Vanoss appeared as a teen, no more than 16 years old. [Moderator Edit] His messy ginger hair didn't dare past his shoulders, some strands braided at the sides to tuck his ears in, giving more to the illusion of that of a human. Scales and smalls feathers protruded from his arms, and fingers tipped with claws, all hidden by two leather gloves. He also has a fair complexion and the color of his eyes remained unchanged.

Attire: Dark-colored, loose fitting tunics and breeches with boots reaching his knees make up his usual wear. Other accessories he typically wore was a scarf with its selvage in the shape of wings draped in reverse over his neck, and then belts that holds a small satchel on his waist where he stores a variety of items.

Personality: If there's one word that summarizes his character, 'child-like' would be it; curios, mischievious, playful, stubborn and easily bored. Vanoss could never settle down for more than a day or two before something catches his attention and he's off for the next adventure. He can even be as blunt as one, whether it was on purpose or not. Nonetheless, this doesn't mean he doesn't have the ability to be serious. If the situation deems for it, then so may it be. And above everything else, he'll be one loyal and protective friend if trust was earned, perhaps he'll even protect whatever what's left of you once the inevitable occurs.

Backstory: When times were still at peace, Vanoss spent most of his time causing mischief and harmless tricks within the human populace. To altering shop signs to scaring some poor travelers and chased them over a glen. Never did he yield in his pranks against those who lived in towns and his name was a common tongue between the commoners. But as the apocalypse loomed over the nations, the time for fun was no more.

Animosity and strife seemed to be the rage in all of the lands and Vanoss didn't fancied it one bit. And seeing how the infection affected the people, he had to act somehow. Although, what could he even do to lay rest the thousands of restless undead? Not much, but he can certainly try to find the missing person who found a cure.
