Hooo...judging off other primal suggestions in the past, I'm wishing you luck with some of the comments that are inevitably going to show up.

Personally, I dig it. It almost looks kind of wolfish, which is cool. I like the idea of big, muscled lions that look fierce regardless of gender, but aren't as...overwhelmingly large as the Primal and Smilus. Maybe its tied to the Barbary mane?

Torn between the two tail types. All the primals have shorter tails, its nice to see long ones. But aesthetically, short just looks so much better. Maybe thicken up the tail so it looks less whispy?

Unrelated, but holy banans, love your art...ignore me going on to poke around and see if you do commissions, lolz.

As I said this is just an idea and an example, not the full version that should appear in the game. Lioden's art is more detailed and cooler than this.

The tails turned out a bit strange; I really tried to create something that doesn't look like a wolf's or dog's tail. I always draw dogs and wolves, and I'm struggling with big cats.
So, I ended up with these. Maybe adding more hair could boost them up a bit. Also, I should make them thicker.
And perhaps some shoulder and underbelly hair would be cool for the male. If I won't be criticized too harshly for this idea, I'll work on these versions when I have some free time again.


(Sometimes I make private commissions, but I don't have much free time, so unfortunately, everyone has to wait for quite a while, maybe a week, before I can create their art.)

Oh no, its not the art that folks tend to criticize, I've just noticed that a lot of people unfortunately get a bit up in arms at other potential primal designs. With luck, though, you'll get lucky and that won't happen to you.

Some more hair on both tails and on the male would definitely be cool. A very thick, heavy mane is always a win, in my books. I'll def keep an eye on this post for if you ever update in the future.

Considering most artists have a week turnaround as their normal, not-busy average, lol, a week is def quite a reasonable wait period <3
