Posted on the Wiki is what the blocking feature does- I have also experimented by blocking some friends and my side in the past and seeing what they can do/see of mine after it's been done.

"This feature allows you to block a user, and this will prevent you from seeing their messages in chat. It will also put them on your block list which prevents site interactions with them such as messaging, trades, forum posts, etc. This is good for avoiding interactions with someone you may not get along with, as we are all human and won't always agree or get along with one another."

I dunno about y'all but when I block someone it's for a good reason. Unfortunately doing so just hides THEM from you, and prevents them from directly interacting with you via trade offers, messages, topics(though they can still send people to un-support your suggestions), and den comments.
They can go around, keeping tabs on your lions, see every part of your profile, search your stuff up, etc. If they're petty enough, they can still indirectly, or directly if they're determined enough, harass you. Changing the blocking feature up won't fix EVERYTHING, but it will hopefully help!

This will especially be helpful for people who are fearful of being doxxed by a certain user; they can smash that block button and report/go to staff for help without the extra stress of knowing their information is available to said user.

Ways to improve-
Blocked user cannot see your profile, a message pops up like "This lion's den is unavailable" similarly to the "This thread is unavailable" message that shows for topics
Blocked user cannot view your lions, branch, or trades. They'd still show up in search, but when clicked on, it could say "This lion is unavailable" and show that sort of blank lioden screen
Blocked user cannot search your ID to see what kind of lions, trades, or topics you have. Topics especially because they can still copy-paste the link onto a private tab and see your posts.

POSSIBLE new features?
When blocking someone, the **option to block their linked side account could pop up, or it blocks automatically depending on your settings**, so you don't have to hunt down said side, especially when they could have 2 different names for each account. Some may say this is a violation of privacy, but I'd say it's a bigger violation of privacy if someone that gives you issues can hide behind an alt account and essentially stalk you.
**EDIT: Jenova :|: 3.3kstMRCinnaPrimal (#164933) brought up an excellent point on this last section, instead of displaying the name/ID of the alt, it could just put up a prompt saying; "Block this person's side account?" That way nobody's privacy is violated in the event that you click yes or no. Thank you again for your input!
