apologies if i sound like i'm rambling, i'm sick as fuck.
As of today, September 22nd, the retirement page has been updated to include this handy little bit of information:
Given how now the game explicitly states that mutation is NOT part of appearance data, this makes me question why it's still down there. They are now confirmed to be entirely different parts of the game, yet mutations are still listed there. Where else should they go? Simple, in the Lion Currents table. The Lion Currents table are where things such as age, hunger, mood, sex, pose, and personality are already listed for females, and where age, hunger, energy, impression, and personality are already listed for kings. This suggestion would have them remove mutation from the appearance table and add it in the lion currents table, either replacing poses for females, or in addition to poses.
Ideally, poses would go down in the mutation's place, as poses have a much bigger impact on how a lion looks than a mutation does 90% of the time.
This is, admittedly, a very minor thing, but I think having a mechanic that is clearly defined by the game to not be a part of appearance data down there as if it is will continue to lead to confusion and misinformation, such as users counting mutation in with an RL's appearance traits and (as I've very, very, very rarely seen) claiming an RLC cannot be an RLC without the RL's mutation, or other things like that.
If you no support, be sure to let me know why, and thank you for reading!
