Hi there, I'm a newish player and am considering which lion to make my heir. My favorite option at the moment has a brawl marking, which other users brought to my attention when I posted a thread with my possible heirs. What are all of the markings and bases that are considered risks for people with photosensitive epilepsy and other conditions? So far, I'm aware of brawl, rumble, and possibly squabble markings. Are there any bases that are epilepsy triggers? Hopefully this isn't throwing a rock at a hornet's nest - I understand that this is probably a contentious topic for the site. Not trying to ruffle feathers, just trying to be accessible and inclusive here. Thank you! Here's the lion if you're curious: https://www.lioden.com/lion.php?id=794202799905 0 players like this post! I don't believe Inverted Brawl is all that bad versus Brawl, since it's an under marking. The pattern is faint when comparing the two. Scoundrel Inverted Brawl is also a Breed Only marking so I wouldn't recommend removing it even if you do decide to use this lion as an heir. There's the Marking Censor for anyone that is affected by these markings, so you should feel free to use whichever markings you like as others can, and should, block them if they are affected by them. :) I haven't heard of any bases that have affected anyone, but there's always a possibility that there are some. As far as which marking can cause issues with Epilepsy, I believe it was Rumble that was the issue. Brawl came out before it and I don't recall any complaints besides that it was too busy a design. The Marking censor was added in response to Rumble, iirc. The only other complaint I can think of is that Brawl, Rumble, and Squabble can trigger players' trypophobia, but again, there's the marking censor, so you should use whatever you like. :) Here are some News Posts if you are interested in them; Rumble Marking Clarification May Development Update #21 (Marking Censor post) 0 players like this post! Thank you! I wasn't sure if Brawl/Inverted Brawl were seen as badly by some of the community as Rumble. Since the marking censor exists, I'm going to leave the marking on him. Thanks for the explanation and the links! 0 players like this post! Like? |
