I thought having a somewhat spooky Halloween roleplay, as October is 👏 HERE. 👏 Keep in mind, plot changes are bound to happen, as I have no inspiration for ideas at the moment- For now, though.. Rumors of a dark forest luring unsuspecting prey travels far across the many prides. Catching wind of this, as many chances at good prey has disappeared, a couple of prides in particular decide to send a few warriors and/or other lions to investigate. On the way, they meet eachother. (more to be decided, and to be edited.) Rules  Swearing is allowed, as long as its not really bad. (Racial, Insulting, etc.) Romance is allowed, just keep it PG! If your planning on giving major injuries to someone else's character, wether it be in a fight or something, please ask. If you have questions or ideas, please let me know! ~| The large, colorful lion laid on a sturdy branch in a small tree. They chose a tree with a bunch of leaves, trying their very best to stay hidden. They watched every small thing that moved, their tail slowly lashing as they yawned, a small roar escaping their mouth. |~ ~| They stretched, extending their legs before jumping down from the tree, making their way to a nearby watering hole. Padding along in no particular direction, only a general idea of where she was going Shala's slender head would bob gently as she made her way, moving in time with a bouncy tune she was currently humming. As she got more into the song, the hum graduated into softly spoken lyrics. "hmhm hmm hm hm hm hmhn -miles and I would walk five thousand more" she sang quietly, her tail flicking side to side with each word. Eventually the smell of fresh water would float to her nose and she angled her paws in the direction of it, still singing quietly. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Still immersed in her little song, Shala would pick up the pace as the source of the water she had smelled earlier came into sight. It was quiet little watering hole, one that did not appear deep enough to be housing any hungry reptiles or ornery hippos. Approaching eagerly, she crouched down at the edge and lapped at the mostly clear water, uttering a satisfied hum as the cool liquid slid down her throat. When her thirst was sated, she backed off and glanced around, taking in the surrounding area for the first time, and it was only then that her emerald green orbs would take in the sight of another lion lying nearby. How she had not noticed them earlier was beyond her, especially since they were so...colorful. She couldn't help but stare openly, her maw slightly agape. Ama was stalking through the underbrush in pursuit of an exceptionally plump gerbil. It was scurrying around in a patch of elephant grass, blissfully unaware of the lioness approaching silently. Willing herself forward on feather-light paws, she crept nearer and nearer until she could practically taste the fresh, warm meal. She shifted her weight to her haunches and leapt... a heartbeat later the gerbil darted away, it's long tail waving tauntingly behind it. "Damn this blind eye," the lioness muttered, rubbing one paw over her sightless left eye. It had always been hard to calculate distance with only one.. It had been two days since Amalthea ate a decent meal. It was hard living alone, without a pride to help aid her hunts. Luckily, not too far into the distance, she could see the reflected shimmer of a lake. "Well, at least I can still quench my thirst," she sighed. Ofc, glad to have you! // ~| They stared into the distance, noticing a group of gazelles. There only seemed to be around 4 in the group, and they seemed small. They stood, slowly making their way into the tall grass, sneaking up on the group. |~ ~| After a moment, They rushed one. It was a calf, looking to only have been born recently. They quickly put it out of its misery, picking it up and padding back to Their rock. (Welcome!) Stiffening slightly as emerald green locked briefly with foggy blue, Shala would feel a might embarrassed to have been caught staring so rudely. She half expected the male to tell her off, but they seemed to pay her no mind and resumed grooming themselves. Eventually they rose and strode off somewhere, returning not long after with a fresh kill. Much to her surprise they offered her some. Dipping her chin slightly in acknowledgement, she dawned a harmless smile, her head shaking in the negative. She had eaten earlier. "Greetings generous stranger, I hope you'll excuse my bluntness, but I have to admit, i've never seen a lion with such a striking coat before, its marvelous" she hummed. 0 players like this post!
