Submales are only good for 3 things; taking up space, being heirs, and patrolling. Unfortunately they will never breed either which kinda sucks considering it could work if done right

I'd really like to see subs used for more than just that! So here are some ideas that I can think of!

Explore buddies!
This probably won't happen but having your submale tag along on explore would be awesome! His helpfulness would depend on his stats and he can only do so much, but it could bring in new explore encounters or paths.

Example~
"Submale name" has spotted something in the bushes! Investigate or ignore?

Your submale wanders off and you catch him flirting with a lioness! You interrupt with a mighty growl and get between them
Claim her or slap him?
(Slapping him will give some flavor text or have a chance to make you two tussle and one of you gains a scar)

And more!!

Scouting
This would be different from patrolling, your submale would go to other parts of the territory ahead of lionesses to see what they're more likely to catch OR he could go outside your territory and explore the wilds beyond your lands.

He could come back with exclusive decor, items that other players throw away, maybe a lone cub or lioness that decided to tag along. With the latter two giving you the option to take them in or turn them away. He would be gone for an hour and have a limit of 5 scouts a day.

Hunting assistance
You can send your sub with lionesses to assist in hunting, giving a small boost to their success with a chance to bring in bigger or more prey! Maybe you could ask them to bring home specifics from certain prey tiles, but it would be a 30/70 shot of them actually going through with it. The sub could have a 2 hour cooldown from helping the ladies so this wouldn't be used TOO often. It would also make certain snake quests a bit easier

Cub Training or Protection
It would be nice if you could send some of your cubs to a submale as a sort of daycare service. They'd chill with him for a while and he'd play with/protect them. They could gain +1 or 2 stats, protection, cub training percentage, or just mood. They don't have to be protected by a lioness for this.



That's all I can think of at the moment, so if anyone else has any ideas on stuff subs can do feel free to toss em over and I'll put them in the post!
