There was a mixed reaction, and we've taken that on board. We went back to square one - we'd like to get your feedback on a new design that we've created, heavily inspired by the current layout - just spruced up a bit, and modernized to use more current web technology! Some Notes: * This is not the final iteration of the layout, it's a preview build - there may be minor issues that will be fixed, or things that we rearrange. Please don't worry about bug reporting or making suggestions for repositioning at this point - we're looking for feedback about how the layout as a whole feels to you! * This layout should be fully mobile responsive, including the lion images and their layers * We are about 99% of the way with color contrast accessibility, and the new accent colors (buttons, progress bars [hunger, energy, etc]) should be colorblind friendly. * Alerts can cause a problem due to very similar brightnesses so icons have been added to alerts to counteract any bad interactions with colorblindness. * Layout Preview Settings: At the bottom of the page there are two options for layout settings. * Text can be resized to your preference within a range. The current default text size (90%) is the most similar to Lioden's current text size. 100% will be the new default when this layout launches, but we will automatically set everyone who is a member at the time to 90% so it's less of a harsh adjustment right away. The plan is that when the layout is implemented, this will be a setting on your account that you can change at will. * The site's theme can be changed to the game's existing layout themes (Day/Default, Night and Desert) and there is a new Dark theme. We are still tweaking Dark theme, and it's important to note that Night and Desert are lower contrast themes and may cause accessibility issues. Preview a Lion Page View the Theme Elements Page Bonus: Landing Page (Xylax is unhappy about the age of the art we've used, it will be updated ;D) Please give any and all feedback within this topic! As a veteran player, my opinion on this is don’t fix what isn’t broken. The current layout, especially lion pages, is simple and concise and easy to navigate and understand. I’ve no qualms with the current layout and would be very happy if it did not undergo these changes.  7 players like this post! Like? |

My only complaint is that when using my phone the lions page is so long to get to the bottom it takes forever to scroll. I don’t know how it looks on pc or like an iPad but I don’t like how long it is with my phone 1 player likes this post! Like? |

I really really dislike the idea of decors being in a seperate tab, personally- I really dislike how it's in a seperate tab on Wolvden, as I like being able to scroll down with ease and view it, without having to switch tabs on the page. I personally really like the idea of collapsable sections like Eli mentioned (I like Jester's mockup in their post a lot). Expecially if there were the option to choose which segments would be expanded/collapsed by default, somewhere within your den page settings(or whatever the equivalent of that will be with the recode), as I think that would be a nice way to streamline gameplay for those who don't care for certain aspects of the lion page (like people who don't care about decors, those who don't care about breeding). 0 players like this post! Made a couple more changes based on some feedback to see how it feels: * Breeding Information and Nursing Cubs, along with the Heritage, Cubs Bred and Former Prides links have been moved to beneath Appearance and Markings. * Equipped Decorations section has been removed and a new link has been added underneath "Import to Wardrobe" with the intention on putting information about equipped decorations on a separate page. 2 players like this post! Honestly it looks like every basic browser game. Lioden currently has a unique look that's comfortable and not to overly colorful and screaming at you, Would be really sad to see it change. I think lots of players would also leave with the change, Because of the sudden difference in appearance 15 players like this post! Like? |

not a big fan of how wolvden-esq it is, wolvden already gives me one hell of a headache when im playing it trying to navigate. would prefer keeping the current layout. doesnt really seem like much has changed at all from the former build you showed us so still a no thanks from me 9 players like this post! Personally, i do not think lioden needs a new layout in the first place. This feels very crowded, n it doesn’t give off lioden vibes. This new layout, for me at least, is a bit confusin. And, the background sides honestly make it look even more cluttered. The drop down boxes for namin, descriptions, roles within the pride etc are worlds better than it all bein on one page. Again, clutter. I play primarily on mobile, n this is any mobile players worst nightmare. The amount of scrollin just honestly seems unnecessary. The bars..? it seems like a small thing, but i absolutely hate how rounded they are. again, not givin off lioden. I also think the progress bars havin the exact amount of exp they need to gain should be added back to the layout. Also, i personally don’t like the breedin items icon. In my opinion, it’s not only unnecessary but clutterin. also, the main page?? i think?? in the nicest way possible, is an eye sore. Again, the clutterin problem. The one we currently have is much better. that dark theme though..  Anyway, i would straight out not prefer the update, but i understand that likely isn’t an option. I don’t like how this feels extremely (and unnecessarily) over simplified and cluttered. I completely understand that this is a preview, i just wanted to give my two cents. 11 players like this post! There's a lion page, a theme elements page (which is to showcase how most of the game elements would look - buttons, alerts, tables, etc, and is not a page itself), and a landing page. Abbey, those few changes made a world of difference for me in scrolling on my cell & look equally as good on the desk top. Looking forward to when the new layouts roll out & seeing the improvements that yall are constantly working on to make the game enjoyable and keep it interesting ! 4 players like this post! Like? |

It is extremely bright and colorful, which I don't think is a terrible thing. It does give feelings of childishness, like the Neopets reskinning whenever flash stopped working for them. But, I really like the contrasts of colors - I am colorblind so this is something that can be an issue with the current website, when things are too desaturated/there is not enough difference in value, I can't tell the difference between colors like red and green, and colors that use those colors in their hue. Overall, I think it's an adjustment and a change that will face backlash, like all changes. But, I think people will get over it for the most part. It's one of those things that you have to accept as updates occur. 4 players like this post! Like? |

I'm actually starting to wonder if the brightness is more in reference to the new background - the actual site colours are a bit more calm and muted than the current layout, but the background has the bright blue rather than the soft green. Could this be the issue? 1 player likes this post! Like? |

i think it’s the theme elements page. I assumed it was the page that you see when you click the lioden home page. Honestly, it could easily be something else because i do have a hard time understandin most news  1 player likes this post! Like? |
