I pretty much only use mobile as that’s the easiest for myself. The new lion pages are so long on mobile and extremely disorganized, distracting, and a bit confusing in my opinion. I think it would be best for mobile users especially, to just leave lion pages as they are. They’re much easier to navigate as they are now. The landing too seems like a lot, and updating it feels a tad unnecessary to me ^^’

Look really chunky and cluttered, the layout we have now is way better than this preview in my opinion. As a mobile player, this is possibly the worst layout. I don’t appreciate how smushed and cluttered it, and the fact I have to scroll so much just to see the decor is a bother. Bottom line is please don’t change what we have already.

I really dislike the lion page, it feels very cluttered to me and as a mobile player, I feel that there is way to much scrolling involved. I like to see all the information in one place, rather than scroll around heaps to find the information. I also think for newer players it would be more confusing. Overall it gives me a bit of a wolvden feel which is a main reason I don't play it. It does look clean, but the colours are too vibrant for me.

Just way to busy and cluttered for me, sorry.

I can see this being added if there would be an option to switch between new and old. I just don't see the need for change

Although I do really enjoy the updated look with new colors. I can agree with other people when they mention that it's a lot more scrolling to do and that separating mutation and marks from the entire appearance category doesn't make a whole lot of sense and just takes up more space in the end. I love that there's a button to search for a stud.

If it was optional, I think the wolvden set up for the wolf page would be a great addition, it's not all organized on one page but in different smaller tabs you could say and it's easy to understand where and why everything is the way it is. Not that I'm saying it should be an exact replica but I think some inspiration could be taken from it, especially keep the order of what users will want to access more frequently, equiper, wardrobe and heritage.

i just ran into this problem that maybe could be in a better layout. I am changing my kings stud rules but i hate scrolling in the tiny box, it would be nice if we could see how our customers would see our rules, to make it look nice so people are more likely to read the rules. or if maybe our rules came up as a pop up before people studded to us :O
idk maybe this is just a problem i have lol

not sure how it looks on pc as i play on mobile but on here it takes far too long to get all the info. i love the revamping of the buttons and the new aesthetic but the info is spread out much too far on the page (i went and counted - it takes 10 full swipes to get to the bottom of the page with the new layout example and 4 with the current). love what y'all are going for and stoked to see what you end up with but for now i like the layout as is :) maybe a feature where you can switch back to the og layout? idk i've never coded so idk how hard that would be lol

The more I stare at it, the more I like it. That being said, there's still a few things I'm not big on.

First and foremost, I think being able to see percentages is an important aspect of the game, and while I'm aware that this isn't the final design, I hope that percentages aren't going to be taken away. I won't comment (much) on anything about Mobile since I'm not really a Mobile user anymore, but I will agree that the Mobile previews seem a tad clunky and overwhelming. I think that having the ability to choose between the old layout and the new layout would be nice, if at all possible.

I would also hope that there is a toggle in order to hide the decorations panel, as that isn't something that I want to see every time I visit a lion's page. It takes up too much room, in my opinion.

Onto things I like: I love dark mode. So much. I will never use another layout ever if given the chance to use dark mode. I also like the king's stats section on the side of the page - it's very cute, and I love the idea of seeing my king/queen right there. The easier access to the journal page is also nice, and I'd use my journal a lot more often if it was that easy to access. And, the event tab update is great as well. Having the name of the event alongside the currencies, as well as all of the currencies listed for each specific month is wonderful.

It's not the worst. However I find it super cluttered and- to pull a phrase from other commenters I agree with- super overstimulating. Why are there so many boxes on the lion page? It's so long, and I play on desktop. I think the current lion page layout is already good so far, and any tweaks should be taken from supported suggestions from the forums, as that would be the best bet of judging what the playerbase likes, rearrangement wise (I see a few suggestions I've supported here, and I'm happy about those!!)

I'm overall not that upset about it on first impression (coming from an autistic person who HATES change ), but it feels like a downgrade over the current layout. I do like some aspects though! I'm very fond of:
• The find a stud button next to breed is really good!! Takes the extra clicking out of the stud finding process. I'm a big fan of this.
• The scroll bar for markings past 10 is GREAT. Looks a lot more streamlined.
• Former prides being grouped with heritage and cubs bred is nice.
• Mutation being seperated from the appearance table is good and will reduce confusion during the retirement process.
• The layout looking similar to the current site is great! It still retains some of the charm. I'm really happy about this, as the unique dated feeling of Lioden is really appealing to me.

On the opposite end, here are some things I dislike:
• The landing page. I can't put my finger on it yet but it just looks awful. It's corporate looking(?)... I'm not sure what it's calling to mind but I really hate the vibe it has. I don't think it calls to mind the appeal of the game very well or advertises it to new players. I don't like it at all.
• Why is everything HUGE? When the post said the 90% text would be similar to how the game currently looks I clicked the previews and went "...ah, so this is the new text size". Then I scroll down and see that no, this is the 90%. Maybe the problem isn't the text size..? But everything is just fucking massive. It's so overwhelming. I'm super happy for the option to change the text size, don't get me wrong, that's a great accessibility feature, but it doesn't do much to quell the overwhelming massive feeling. It feels like I'm on my phone, when I'm on desktop. I'm not here to play a mobile app, I'm here to play Lioden.
• In general it looks... kind of childish? Maybe the rounded buttons. It's not too bad though.
• We don't need that cluttered decor section. I'll echo someone else in the comments- we can already see the decor on the lion. Maybe as a little icon next to it on a list (like the way the heat status/breeding items is displayed), but it just adds to the bloated feeling.
• Please move the secure button. That's just asking for an accidential chase/kill/nature reserve.

I'm neutral on the rest. I'd prefer the autobreed and breed options to be swapped personally, as autobreed being next to feed + play doesn't make much sense to me when the other buttons below are more 'minor additions to breeding'. I feel like a lot of the tables could be assimiliated into a smaller space and look much better without scrolling forever. Also, PLEASE tell me the crossroads will be the same. I really hope it won't be turned into little images in a list like Wolvden.

Edit: a few other things I want to note:
• I'd like the alternating colors on the chatbox back, it's a lot easier on the eyes and easier to differentiate between different messages at a glance that way.
• Please let us see the mother and father without clicking on heritage the way we have it now, much more convenient.

Also, thank you for letting us provide feedback in general. I'm sorry if anything I've written comes off as really harsh- I am really passionate about this game as I've been consistently playing ever since joining and I really love the game!

I feel like some people would even quit the game, especially the ones on mobile. Theres just so much going on in the new layout, and it kinda looks more "child-ish"?
On lion pages, you have to scroll a LOT when you're playing on mobile, which is a bit annoying.
I'm not a huge fan of the new one, I really like the current layout. But maybe that's because I'm used to it :,)

Idk, it just reminds me too much of wolvden. Like I liked how different the two where.

It looks a bit confusing? It might just be my adhd and autism ans viewing it on my phone, but it feels like everything is just all mushed together. Like I like how you can hide the "edit lioness details" or the "reverse breeding". It lessens the confusion for me.

It feels very cartoony and more for younger audiences. If this is the vibe and atheistic your going for than go for it!

I don't quite understand why the appearance has been split into 3 parts. It seems to make more sense to have them all in one like it currently is. It seems rather useless to have the mutation all by its self, unless you plan to make it like wolvden where lions have hereditary mutations?
