I’ve been thinking about if I should keep or change my queens appearance to a jellyfish base.
My Queen!

Nacre (Pink Skin)
Slot 2: Dawn Dapple (34%) Tier 3
Slot 3: Sunset Crackle (62%) Tier 3
Slot 4: Guardian Inverted Quagga (100%) Tier 3
Slot 5: Ebony Soft Rosette (100%) Tier 4
Slot 6: Mottled Rosette (88%) Tier 5
Slot 7: Stratosphere Undertone (24%) Tier 3
Slot 8: Feline 5 Ebony (57%) Tier 5
Diabolic Mane
Piebald (Ticked)
(She is double rosette)

Is it worth it if I replace her with this Jellyfish Cub? (Will sex change her if I decide to buy her as heir) I think she’s cute!

Summary:
What’s the value of my Queen compared to this jellyfish cub?

Is it worth it to make the jellyfish cub my heir or should I just keep my current queens appearance for a lion like a stat replacer, groupie, or a mutie

Jellyfish is a popular base rn but Nacre can be a combo base also if you keep working on her and mutt rep w a g2 pi or somthing like that. I believe She will be worth it if you stick w her. Also I think that coloration is prettier w your current queen

I also really like my queen but the thing is that she gives me bland looking cubs which is why I’m thinking of this

Before replacing just do a bunch of work on markings, I think it’s mostly up to your opinion w who your choosing but maybe use monkey teeth and add a couple different feline applicators they pass really well from my experience so you will probably get better/brighter cubs. Then after that just RMA to get good markings!

I don't recommend RMAing! It sucks! - someone who's spent literal thousands of GB on it through multiple projects.

I only recommend it for already high-value lions with BO traits / bases. If you want a specific custom marking, you're much better off applying it directly with the oasis app. Come November, you can apply piety markings too which would be a better investment than RMAs.

The jellyfish is probably worth more objectively than your current queen, but it's all sentimental value. Double rosetes and jellyfish are both oversaturated, but double rosette prices suffer much more as of right now. If you're unhappy with the cubs but like her in particular, changing things up might help.

Whenever my Queens gets a cub with rosette, the cubs only gets one rosette. I love my queen a lot but cubs do usually disappoint

Natural multiples are not very common at all. Rosettes pass very infrequently, and you're probably not going to get multiple passing on one cub. I've had two natural doubles in 4ish years, though I don't actively breed for rosettes and try to do that. And the second natural double was a random rosette!

If you want cubs you like, I'd generally say find an heir you like and try to scry them with potential breeders. If the cubs are pretty consistently to your taste, then great! I try to stick to single rosettes, doubles at the most, but only if they already have lots of markings!

I just meant lions in your pride that you'd wanna breed to the potential heir!
