Inspired by the Assign an Animal thread, this game follows the same format. Each person assigns a real creature to the user above them, but it can't be an animal! That means no mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, insects, or amphibians.

You can pick plants, fungi, protists, bacteria, anything you want. Extinct creatures count too! You can choose a creature at random, pick one you like, or try to match the user's personality or interests.

To kick things off, the first comment can assign me a non-animal, and we'll go from there :)
