Taking inspiration from an Exclusive Genetic Topic that went in a different direction, I decided to suggest my own version of this addition if it were to be added. This was on my mind before they edited their post earlier, as I had commented on theirs a while back. I have seen multiple complaints as to how many bases are in each rarity and the limitations of only 4 rarities. So I am suggesting a new rarity called Exclusive based on Breed-Only Special bases. This is different from existing topics as those one focus on moving applicators to a new rarity or adding an applicator rarity. On the wiki, you can see "NCL Exclusive" labels on Asali, Dhahabi, Maziwa, and Mobola. This implies that they are exclusive to, or only available from, explore lioness claiming. You could argue that breeding from a generation 1 stud with one of those bases isn't NCL-Exclusive, but it's origin came from the Lionesses claimed. It is also still only available from breeding. The four existing rarities are the following and where they come from: Common: Applicable, random, and claiming Uncommon: Applicable, random, and claiming Rare: Breeding, raffle Special: Applicable, breeding, claiming, raffle If Exclusive were to be added, it would include the following types of bases from the special tier: Raffle: Bases that can not be applied or bred randomly. Exclusive to Normal and July Raffle Lioness breeding. NCL: Bases that can not be applied or bred randomly. Exclusive to Newly Claimed Lionesses. Maneater: Bases that can not be applied or bred randomly. Exclusive to August Maneater studs. Groupie: Bases that can not be applied or bred randomly. Exclusive to May Groupies. Combo: Bases that can not be applied or bred randomly. Exclusive to Combo Breeding. Hybrid: Bases that can not be applied or bred randomly. Exclusive to First Generation Tigons and Leopons. The above types are all exclusive to the individual sections. All of them can then be applied to the Exclusive rarity tier. Exclusive: Restricted or limited to the person, group, or area concerned. Agree and support. We desperately need more organization for breeding and this is a step in the right direction, plus there's literal no downside to it as the exclusive tag won't change the worth of the lions either.  0 players like this post! Like? |

It also takes into account the "exclsuivw" tag for NCLs when you look at base genetics as well as lifting the weight off Special tier with how many it has versus the other tiers. Like one player said, Exclusive is to Special as Uncommon is to Common. Uncommon and Common have the same function, just spread out more with some differences (NCLs are restricted to common unless they are chased NCLs or the exclsuives) 0 players like this post! Like? |

also, uncommon and common do not have the same function. uncommon and rare have the same function. making exclusive/special work in this way is also included in the suggestion i linked 4 players like this post! Like? |

Yes, they want to make Applicator bases into Exclusive, and keep Special bases as the breed-only ones. Which makes more sense than... whatever this is - which is just the reverse of Jester's suggestion where breed only is called "Exclusive" when Special makes far more sense. 1 player likes this post! I've seen many players discussing the topic on which would kept to special and which would change to exclusive. Exclusive didn't make sense as "applications" due to the fact that when you here exclauive, most think super special and excludes others. If exclasive were applicator bases, why would it exclude common/uncommon bases that are also applicable? Exclusive, to me, would make more sense as strictly breed-only as its only exclusive to certain criteria (not applied and not random) such as raffles or claiming or even being born on a hybrid. 0 players like this post! Yeah I realised that when I commented earlier about common and Uncommon being similar with differences. Thank you for catching that And by random, I mean you can breed any two bases and get a "random" base in those genetics or like Albino. A Witch x Witch will produce "random" bases or failed bases. I could potentially tially remake this suggestion, if needed, and have it shortened. This was one of the original drafts I had made for it. I decided not to post it due to how short it was and how much I felt that it left out. The current rarity system in Lioden has limitations, especially when it comes to special bases. To address this, I suggest adding a new rarity called "Exclusive" for bases that can not be applied or bred randomly. This rarity would include bases from the following categories: Raffle: Exclusively available through Normal and July Raffle Lioness breeding. NCL: Exclusive to Newly Claimed Lionesses. Maneater: Exclusive to August Maneater studs. Groupie: Exclusive to May Groupies. Combo: Exclusive to Combo Breeding. Hybrid: Exclusive to First Generation Tigons and Leopons. These bases are currently unique to their respective categories but would all fall under the "Exclusive" rarity meaning that these bases are restricted to specific areas or groups. 0 players like this post!
