NOTE: I am the same player as ʏᴏᴜʀᴅᴀɪʟʏᴘᴜᴘᴘʏ in Wolvden, so please, do not say I copied this off of myself! I just wanted to make a Lioden version. You see, Lioden isn't a pretty realistic game in some aspects. Such as having literal red lions and even dragons & mythical creatures. But in this topic, I will tell you a challenge to enchance the realism and hardship of your gameplay! I decided to call this the Realistic Mode. It is totally optional to follow this topic, I bet 90% of the Lioden players will pass by and say ''Wow, this is way too hard for me. I'll pass.'' and that is totally okay! My old-self would also do that, in my opinion. Let's get to the fun stuff now! Lioden: Realistic Mode - Rules 1. Your lion must be natural-looking. An example of a natural lion is a tan-ish coat with some brown or cream markings. A natural lion must look like a real life lion, I recommend looking at lion reference pictures if you do make one. Semi-naturals are also okay! Semi-naturals are just like natural lions, but they don't really look like a real lion in some aspects. Such as having a high color contrast or blue eyes. Mutations do not count, as it would completely mess up the gameplay! 2. If a lioness in your pride is in heat, you got to breed her to your main male, no matter what. In real life, during the breeding season, and the dominant male is the only one with mating rights. That means your lions' lineage would be extremely dirty, but I don't really mind inbreeding. I don't know about you, though. 3. Make your lionesses with the hunting speciality hunt atleast twice per rollover. Lions normally organize hunting parties to get more prey (but some don't cache prey, since there's too much competition. But who knows where the Lioden universe is located at? I think Lioden lionscache prey a little bit too much (check your hoard). 4. Do not forcefully retire lions onto your Dynasty page. You got to wait until they die of old age; I know many players are impatient and need to retire them quickly, but I don't think real life lions can forcefully make their elderly pack members die. 5. Feed your lions and socialize as much times as you can. In real life, lion prides are an united family, and socializing is a crucial part of their lives. If they do not socialize a desired amount of time, their family laces may be broken. 6. If your main lion is a male, only take a look at the new cubs once they are weaned. In real life, the cubs stay inside a spare den until they are weaned, being fed by their mothers' milk. Once they are weaned, they will leave the den and explore for the first time ever. In Lioden, once your litter is weaned, you may meet them! If you are a female main (used a lab test frog on your lion, or is a female for just cosmetic stuff), you may leave the den to feed your pride and etc, but you cannot send hunting parties, explore or anything else, since you are alongside your cubs until they are weaned. This also counts for when the female is pregnant. I know Lioden's queens cannot get pregnant, but lionesses often help eachother in motherhood. 7. Try to keep your lions' decors as natural as possible. Trees, grasses and wild animals are okay, but literal blue fire going out of your lion's nose and eyes is pretty unnatural, don't you agree? 8. During these exploring encounters where you can find dragons, mythical creatures, zombies and stuff like that, just pretend your wolf is either hallucinating or daydreaming! Trust me, this happens to animals, too. My dog has once been scared off of a spot at our house, and the veterinarian said he was simply hallucinating. 9. If you are playing as a female main lion, then you can find a stud for your lionesses; since a group with lionesses only would be considered a coalition. If you are playing as a male main lion, make yourself the pride's breeder. 10 Everytime a new litter is born, flip a coin for each cub. Heads means the cub was born healthy and well. Tails means the cub is a stillborn. If you roll Tails for a cub, you may take a screenshot of them and apply it to the mother's biography before killing/chasing them, for you to never forget them! You can either roll once or do a best of three for each cub. I am currently doing Realistic Mode. However, my current main lion was created way before I thought about this mode, so he is pretty messed up in terms of realism; my next alpha will be different. ![]() Edited on 27/10/23 @ 16:53:05 by Lion | 2/9 Crunchies (#444907) |
