Have you ever been irritated by how dysfunctional and flawed the forums are? On the daily I feel as though the forums are extremely flawed and thus I decided to make this post!

Allow owners to moderate threads
Now, this may seem like a bad idea but hear me out! I really wish thread owners could delete comments if wanted. I’m sick of making a thread only for it to be ruined by people spamming or arguing and I feel like if I could just delete the comments my life would be so much easier. Now you may be thinking “Snive, what if someone exploits this feature for scamming!” and I see where you’re coming from so here’s my solution to that, let mods have access to thread history and if anyone has previously exploited the feature they cannot use it. Additionally, allowing owners to add thread moderators like how clan threads can be edited by admins would be beneficial. Truthfully i’m not sure this is a good idea but i added it anyways lmfao

Allow comment flagging
Title pretty much sums it up but sometimes I get comments on my post and want to flag them for mods to see since they’re breaking CoC, but flagging comments doesn’t exist! I understand you can copy the post ID and modbox it but that’s a bit of a long process and it takes time to get a response whereas flagging is quick and will potentially not take as long.

Add a bump cooldown
Once again, self explanatory. I notice that you can continually bump a topic using the “Bump thread” button without cooldown, I suggest adding a cooldown similar to the trading one.

Add thread blacklisting
Mods can already block you from viewing a thread as I’ve learned the hard way but an easier and less tedious way of doing this is letting thread owners blacklist players from their thread(s)! Sometimes I like interacting with players I just don’t want them interacting on my threads lol

Delete rule-breaking threads rather than lock them
Yes, I understand wanting to make the reason for the thread shutdown known but I’d say just either just send a mod message telling the poster why it was deleted or open a modbox ticket. The forums are heavily polluted with locked topics and it’s annoying. I’m not saying delete all locked topics, as some are just locked due to being old, but delete the ones that aren’t allowed! I posted something recently that ended up getting locked and I would much rather have it just deleted rather than locked. Additionally, it would clear up server space thus making the website faster.
