February is definitely my favorite event but its the fact that it doesnt have a storyline that upsets me.. So, ideas brewed in my head, how i could fix this problem and i present to you… a love story.

It's about how a lion, maneless male tries to start up his own pride in a small gap between territories, one quite close to a notorious lion who’s been the keeper of the territory for years upon years, someone the little guy shouldn't mess with.. though, a lioness of his pride caught his eye and ever since, he has been madly in love with her. The lioness has a mane, quite a perfect match. A maneless lion and a maned lioness. Only thing preventing the male of her territory from beating the living shit out of maneless is a river separating his small territory and the male’s. The river is thick but there is a thin part, more suitable for crossing. He’s trying to win her heart and you've got to help him. Wrong choices and… he gets absolutely humiliated and rejected.

“Hey! Traveler, wait up!” Yelped out a lion from behind you, a lioness, a very odd yet beautiful lioness. Her pelt littered with feathers actually, dull mainly but some reflect the sun, giving it a pretty look. She stares into your eyes, a small sparkle. Ah, another lioness looking to be in my pride because I'm so charming.



(“Ahem” you hesitated for a moment before beginning your claiming routine*MANLY ROAR, PUFF OUT CHEST-)



“PFT- NO SILLY!” The lioness interrupts, you sat there, dumbfounded. “I'm a lion, not a lioness” he snickered “Just lacking from the chest up”.



(“Oh, my bad, sorry.” You hung your head low in embarrassment. You watch him laugh himself tired. “Well.. Mane or not, you'd still be the prettiest lion ive ever seen”)

He was shocked, staring back at you, blushing. An akward silence but some sort of tension was between him and you.
