I believe it is not the best way to work with these colors, due to the way the lioden bases are, you can use markings that already exist, even edit them, and create a base
for example, I feel that both the white fur and the spots are a little out of place, but I admit that it's not my favorite pattern, and you can keep the white area of the face like this, change where the brown is to match the lineart

version 1 B is my favourite but I’d suggest change the name to kelpie as i assume that’s what the base is based off? the name aussie just doesn’t seem to suit to me. when i think of aussie in specific you’d think yellow and green like the sports teams colours and such but when i think kelpie id think this base. i personally think the more reddish brown splotches look a little out of place and would think of they’re shape was changed (as said above) as well as the colour so it matches the tones already used a little more.
supporting it since i think the concept is fun
