hey guys, does anyone know if a lioness having a miscarriage due to cotton root bark is the same as her losing her litter bc she had no nest? are these two separate events or are they treated as the same? if a lioness loses her litter, does she still have a higher chance of giving birth to a mutie? 1 player likes this post! Hello! It's a separate event, the cotton root bark (1 GB) assigns an effect to the lioness that appears along the top of her page until the next time she's bred- whereas losing a litter due to being unnested ( ... er... Unpaid/Negative 60sb cost?) is a Game message notification in Daily Rollover Summary & just brings her back into a heat cycle where she'll come back into heat in x days. I'm sure you've observed the difference, but I just wanted to iterate how the game separates the two occurrences. A "Free" crb would be awesome - it's just a different kind of loss. If it makes sense to think of it this way, cotton root bark is a chemical/item influence that could affect future litters whereas losing a litter due to unpreparedness is more of a risk/real-danger consequence that would not alter the chemistry of the lioness? 2 players like this post! The wording is very similar if I remember correctly, both use the term "lose her litter" - the difference is in the crb mutation chance. >.<' Absolutely, glad it makes sense! 2 players like this post! Like? |

Miscarriages on the Wiki is where I looked! It is possible for her to miscarry naturally, but it is a TINY chance and seems to not be due to lack of nesting, but instead neglecting to feed/entertain her while she is pregnant. :3 2 players like this post! Like? |

The only thing that can cause a CRB effect is using a CRB on a lioness! NO other features cause increased mutation chance, no matter what caused the miscarriage - if you havent used an item, its not increasing any mutation chances! 2 players like this post! Like? |

Do you happen to know if it (tiny chance of natural miscarriage) applies the crb effect to her though, Ramune? I assume the rarity may be due in part to the overlap between uncared for & running away but if it's still an in-game feature, it would be cool to know. 2 players like this post! Like? |

I assume so due to the second paragraph saying how to intentionally cause one! I am honestly not 100% certain as I have never had this happen. I would be very interested to know. :o My assumption is indeed that it does cause the CRB effect due to the phrasing but I'm just not 100% certain. I definitely agree it would be neat to know, and that is entirely why I haven't tested it out myself - the reclaim fee on top of my mass CRBs would drive me batty aha! I may try this out one day to see just how rare it is and if it indeed causes the CRB effect. 2 players like this post! Like? |

Ramune, but how would you be able to tell? by a special message mentioning the hightened mutation chance? tbh it would be wonderful to test that out, so i guess i'll keep mass breeding to see 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thank you Mad Hyena! The Wiki phrasing makes it quite confusing since they are both called miscarriages, and one is 'intentional' versus 'unintentional.' 1 player likes this post! Like? |
