Introduction

As you stumble upon a clearing, your gaze is immediately drawn to the waterfall in the middle. Atop the rocks surrounding it, various lionesses and even some adolescents sunbathe or groom each other, while the younger lions tousle closer to the ground or race back and forth across the stretch of grass before you. Approaching you is a tall, handsome lion, with white markings interrupting his tan fur. The lioness next to him is clearly young, just barely able to be considered an adult. Her fur is decorated with flowers and she looks nervously up at her guide, speaking to him in a low voice.

“What do you mean he couldn’t come?” She asks, not even looking where she’s going. The older lion sighs, “You know he’s getting older. That’s why we’re doing all this. It will be your time to take over before long.” He nudges her gently to end the conversation before flicking his tail over to you.

“We have a visitor.”

Coming to a halt, the lioness looks at you, a bit panicked before seeming to remember her manners. “Hello! It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance. My name’s Perseus, I’m the heir to the king of this pride.” She gestures broadly to the many lionesses behind her. The older lion, who introduces himself as Braveheart a moment later, chuckles.

“See? You’re a natural. Now go on, speak with our guests. Get to know them. I’ll come collect you later.”

Rules

The current king of this pride, Alyr, will be retiring in nine days time. As such, Perseus, the heir to the throne, has been tasked with preparing herself for her future job. Today, the entire pride, with the exception of their king, has gathered to introduce her to their neighbors and visitors, so that she will know the lions she will have to speak with once she takes over the throne. Each visitor has a special chance to win a refunded studding from her once she becomes the ruler, giving a little extra incentive to come visit. Every lion that decides to stop by will get to speak with her personally, as well as any other lions they’re interested in approaching. Though Perseus may seem like a nervous little lioness who doesn’t feel like she’s fit to rule, her reign remembered for years to come.

❥ Everyone who enters must respond in roleplay for their entry to count.
❥ You're free to speak to both Perseus and any other lions within the pride, though please state who you are speaking to so I can respond accordingly.
❥ Winners will be picked through a random number draw, and the amount of winners depends on the amount of entries.
❥ Only one entry per person, per day.
❥ This will run from today (December 27th) to the end of January. Perseus will take over the throne on January 4th.
❥ Anyone who enters that does not receive a fully refunded studding will get 100 sb off instead, so everyone gets something out of this.
❥ Perseus will be sex-changed before becoming the king, but I plan to use a lab test frog on her at some point in time. An image of her as a male has been provided below for clarity.
