"Much to the kingdom's dismay Lazaro’s sickness soon took his life. He left the pride to his young son Caspián. He knew that whatever happened Caspián would take care of the lands he had ruled over. It was hard for Caspián to lose his father at such a young age but even harder as he didnt know if he was ready to lead the pride himself. He sought help from the pride's elders and they promised him that this was his destiny. He took to the throne with much hesitation. Many failures came with his ruling. He didn't understand how to organize patrols or Caspián.how to fight off those who would try to fight for the land. This led to one battle where he lost and was thrown out of the pride. Caspián was filled with rage. “My weakness” he thought “ lead to my home and family being taken away and put in danger”. Then and there he vowed that he would grow strong and win back his land. He traveled far and wide finding his ancestors and gods along the way. With help from the First king of the lands, Fevor, and the god Anubis, he learned and grew strong with power. In exchange he lost sight in his left eye. That never stopped him though because he was hungry for revenge and headed to take back his home. When he arrived the place was in ruins. Bones of prey were scattered about the lands and there was the smell of sickness all around. He saw a large male sitting on top of one of the rocks. That was his target. He stepped forward and with one mighty roar challenged him for pride. The male jumped up with his ears flat and eyes flaring with anger. They started circling and Caspián made the first move feigning for the face while aiming for his leg. It worked and the male lost his balance allowing Caspián to swipe at the male's face. The male quickly got up and shook his head to get the red liquid away. The male tried to swipe at Caspián but he was too slow and missed, allowing Caspián to jump on his back, knocking him down. Quickly the fight was over and the male had lost. Growling in defeat the male padded away from the pride and Caspián gave a loud bugle of triumph. Soon the lands were back to how they once were under Lazaro. Peaceful and happy. Caspián had learned what it meant to be a king and was ready to protect his family. No one would take away what was rightfully his ever again”




"As the rain falls from the sky the water flows from the falls through the forest the trees give there rustles and the birds give there cry. As the sky darkens creatures emerge from where they were hiding they head forth to find food and shelter as winter approaches. The cricket sounds fill the quiet evening and the cry from the wolves penetrate the clouds. As dawn approaches animals trade places the crickets quiet and birds sing. But once every few years the moon and sun will fight and the result quiets the forest till they call it even and let the light return. Soon though after winter has ceased animals are mating and small cubs and hatchlings fill the trees. The paths are soon full of those hikers that come every year some loud to hide from and some quiet to come forth. But no matter, the forest is still here waiting for the night to come and go and the day to be brought forth. The canopy over head blocks most light but some come through and shattered it is. Now we must go, Winter has come again, time for some sleep, maybe with a Friend.

Here in the forest we hibernate,til spring.

Winter has finally ceased and the animals wake to find the snow seeping away. The buds start growing, the sun warms the earth, oh spring is here and it's for warmth. I sign off now going to find food, maybe you can guess what you didn’t knew. What animal am I? you ponder through the days. While you just will find out in the forest not that far away. Maybe one day we will meet back in the place where time does not continue and life is and endless circle. But for now i say goodbye"
