Currently the only way to stop lions from aging is to move them to an account that does not roll over each day. Doing so prevents people from using their accounts each day and technically people are not allowed to sell lions/heats from frozen accounts. I would like to propose the following options: - Hybernation/Frozen Den that costs GB to create/maintain (sort of like feed all/play all or auto nesting) that lion and cubs can be moved in an out of. While in this den they do not age with roll over and cannot be bred until moved into another den. - Oasis item that can be purchased to temporarily stop the aging of a lion/cub that is single use and can be toggled off and resume aging once per item. Another way this could be done is an item to temporarily stop the aging on a lion/cub and a separate item to resume aging. Perhaps this could trigger the use of frozen slots until the aging is resumed? I am open to other suggestions people may have. I understand the point of lions aging during RO but a widespread amount of the user base is using "freezer" accounts to extend their lions life span. It would be amazing to have the ability to do so and keep our prized lions on our main account/benefit from being able to use both of our accounts during events. Thank you ♥ |

this is definitely somewhat like FR for the hibernation dens. Personally, i dont support as i really dont see a point. Most of the users will still be used as freezer accounts because not everyone can afford a huge amount of frozen slots to freeze what could be between 1-50 lions if they're so inclined. So it would be a function that realistically would barely be used 0 players like this post! Like? |

I really like the idea of a paid subscription type of den for it. I can also see it being an upgradable thing to, like you need more and more supplies to expand the cave to hold more lions. Like you start out being able to have 5 lions in there and you need 1gb/1000sb, 300 large rocks, 300 large leaves or something to expand it 5 more slots (example numbers I grabbed out of no where tbh) 4 players like this post! @Ricky While yes, there will be people who would still use freezer accounts for a larger scale, but that's their choice. Right now our only options for preservation is a perma freeze in which we are without the entire lion due to forcing to retire, or missing out on content in favor of lions because we are unable to roll our second account in hopes to keep lines alive. This option itself could open the floor to members of the community to be able to participate in events, WHILE still being able to keep our lions secure, healthy, and alive to continue lines without the stress of them growing too old, missing heats, or like so many in the community do- Wait until feb to keep breeding back to back. This is a good idea for people who have RLC lines, or even Gen 1 hybrids who don't want to lose a whole account on account of a few lions that could instead be saved in a hibernation. I think denying that people would or wouldn't use this diminishes the relief it would bring to many stressing over their pixel lions eating holes in their pockets. There are many features lioden has that a majority of players may not use but that doesn't take value from their existence. 6 players like this post! Like? While i can agree with that, I personally still just dont want to support for some reason. I just dont particularly like the idea, when most of the userbase also goes on hiatus year-round until big events like feb, october, etc. so they dont worry about their lions anyhow. 0 players like this post! As it stands, while yes, people would much rather use freezer accounts. There's no protection for your assets if you store your lions on someone else's account. While it was an agreement in which they store your lions to keep them longer, it's not an actual function in LD for it to be secure. While they may agree, there's nothing stopping them from either stealing your assets or going behind your back and the agreement and keep rolling the account, because in terms of LD transactions, those lions are now THEIRS. Regardless of the deal made, there's no protection for lost assets. What Lilu is proposing is a great compromise, because while some players may not afford it, it's still an option to secure what you own. For many people, there's no trust in outsourcing accounts for freezing, so they're forced to lose an account and additional activity in high-priority events because they're pigeon-held into freezing lions to ensure they survive and last long enough to keep passing on. This is VERY inclusive to the RL community, and the hybrid community with Gen 1's being stored, to even massive project breeders struggling. Having a den you could activate, or even slots themselves relieves a lot of tension and stress for these breeders who are forced into storing certain lions because RNG has decided that this lion, just ain't having it, and it's unreliable to store them. 5 players like this post! @seidhr i agree with this! I didn't really understand the use before admittedly, but with the addition [cant remember the word im looking for] in terms of explanation i can safely say i support. personally, i'd still use my side to freeze anything as i cant manage two accounts at once anyway lol. 2 players like this post! @Ricky That's completely fine, it's up to the person, but it'd be really beneficial to at least give the community that choice for our own protection and sake of our lions, especially considering the state of the community and the amount of scams committed, and the lack of protection against said scams because there's no other choice. It sucks going into events like Feb, knowing I'm stuck on one account and limiting the number of things I can do during feb, because I'm unable to roll my second account without risking losing all of my stored lions because I for the life of me, cannot willingly trust anyone else with them without fearing their safety. 1 player likes this post! I want to support but I'm a little uncertain. How expensive would you suggest it be? 2 players like this post! Like? |

Full Support of this, there are so many people who rely on being able to sell their lions/sell Heats or Barked Heats WHILE also being able to have them safely frozen and not aging. Sad that we aren't able to do this when they are on others accounts 😭 Thank you for making this suggestion ❤️ 2 players like this post! Like? |

@leon I'm open to ideas on pricing, a monthly GB subscription would probably be the most cost effective (vs having to purchase frozen slots because those can be spendy when you get high enough) but I do want to consider the lioden team and what would incentivize them to have this as a feature. 2 players like this post! It doesn't help the moment lions stored on any other account that you don't own, you're no longer allowed to manage them in terms of sales, heat sales, or any form of advertisement, which ruins a lot of feb breeders because anyone storing them on a friend account is breaching TOS for advertisements Personally, I already pay 20gb for FAPA and Auto nesting, if it's another sub-base function like those, I'd pay 5-10gb alongside just to ensure safety and access to the lions to be able to sell heats or manage them in events that require being able to hold them safely without them again until ready to roll for said heats to sell. 1 player likes this post! As someone who is stuck freezing their lions until Feb T3 opens, SUPPORT. A. We could keep playing events. We wouldn't be allowed to profit off these lions in any way (breeding, selling, etc) so I think it's a fair exchange! Pay to not age them. I'd be fine with it if there's an overall limit too. Even if it was just one-five lions tops, PERIOD, it would be immensely useful. February is the most profitable month by leaps and bounds, and not getting to roll for the majority of it stinks! I have a lioness I was given at 13 years and 10 months old and I had to immediately chuck her on my frozen side that I was originally going to be able to roll for most of Feb! B. Not everyone has people they trust with freezers. :( So if October rolls around and they NEED a lot of crunchy worms, but also have to freeze certain lions, their ability to grind is cut effectively in half. And while yes, there's other months to make up for that by buying things to sell for GB/SB, having to potentially wait for another year to roll through to get what you need is less than ideal. :c I also hate the idea of freezing my lions on someone else's account so that if they want to play an event, they now won't be able to! Some people don't mind not rolling their side which is awesome! They make fantastic freezers and they rock for that. But finding someone that you trust with a special lion can be tough! You're somewhat forced to pick between losing up to HALF if not entirely half of an event's outcome for yourself, or trusting someone with a very special lion (and even in the best of cases, IRL can get anyone! Not even in ill intent, someone could be pulled away from Lioden for a long time), or having someone you know and DO trust hold onto them but they're also forced to forgo that sweet sweet half-event profit. (So this kinda ties in with A XD) C. People would still certainly be able to opt for freezers! I see it as more of a benefit for those who don't have people they know/trust to roll, or have friends who are rolling all through the events. It'd be worth a lot of GB to me personally to be able to roll and not TOUCH those lionesses. I wouldn't mind if they were 'forced' into stasis for a while either. Heck, I'd be fine if they had to go ALL of Feb without being unfrozen. A month forced freeze but being able to grind an event would still be well worth it. I'm a user with auto-nesting because of my ridiculous CRB project. A LOT of users find it totally wasteful and I get that! For a lot of people it is NOT a money-saver. But for the few mass breeders with a ton of territory, it's a life saver! Myself included. I'm not sure I could function without it for my CRBs. 15 GB now means over 15 GB I won't have to spend on nests each month and potentially lose cubs. So I feel it's *similar* in that way. I've seen so much nay-say on auto-nesting, which is COMPLETELY fair. Unless you're going through the absolutely silly amount of lionesses I am a month, or even close to it, it's not worth it. But in two months alone, I've used 1300+ CRBs. Not to mention mass breeding normal VLFs, RLC breeds, etc. That's well over 80k SB of nests! Way way worth it. Especially as I like to keep feathers for crafting. Personal problem there but it helps me keep playing how I want to! Just my... three cents on why I support. I'm sure there may be counter-reasons to all of the ones I listed. And mine is pretty specific due to the *dire age* standpoint. But I think it'd be useful! And people could still get freezers if they have people they trust not rolling! So it's not like it would do away with it, as the people who hire freezers to begin with aren't quite having this issue. But for *really special* lions, even if it's purely sentimental vs any "value," it's tough to let them go to another account! And people can still use their sides too if they wish! But for those of us who need to freeze but rely on events pretty heavily to get what we need (??? RLCs, 15 hybrids here!), and want that peace of mind that they're safe and sound, I just personally really like the idea. :3 TLDR: a. Even if only very limited slots per account, it's helpful! b. It lets us keep playing events without needing a TRUSTED friend/user to keep them safe (or to rely on IRL not grabbing said person away, which happens!) Losing up to or even a full half of an event's currency is a lot! Especially now that we can transfer currency across accounts easily. c. Even though a lot of people find something like auto-nesting futile, it is a must for my breeding! So I'd like to see the option for people who need it, and others just not opt to use it if they don't want it. :3 6 players like this post! Like? PHEW while I think it should be pricey I definitely agree frozen slots as they are are a bit much. Hmm. Like I said I think it should be more expensive, around the price of auto nesting maybe? Though Tacatto's suggestion is interesting too! I think it's also like... if it's too expensive people will just want to choose frozen accounts instead? Idk. What the hell though, I'll support. I'd love for my friend to have both accounts when she'd want two. If the admins want to add it they can iron out little details like that. 4 players like this post! Like? |

Something that popped into my mind, how would pulling them out work? Would there be a 1 RO cooldown to be able to put them back in? That way they at least have to age one RO when pulled out. To keep someone from pulling out a 2y old then throwing them back in to keep then 2 forever? 1 player likes this post! Like? |

On FR you have to wait i think a few weeks before you can do it, so the cooldown should definitely be more than a day, but not super long. 0 players like this post! Like? |
