So it's extremely, like abysmally, rare for a g1 hybrid to come from a cotton root bark alone. Like less than 1/1000 chance. I'd skip the zebra hearts entirely, just be patient about cooldowns.

Best advice is to build a LOT of equity in the game, save up a ton, and then do a run of about 600-1000 cotton root lionesses over the course of several days/weeks. It'll probably fail. It's still likely you'll get some cool mutations out of the batch though. I've bred 7 first gen hybrid cubs myself, and this is my method of choice because while it takes longer, I've had the best ratio of success with it compared to GB spent.

Now if that doesn't sound appealing, perhaps consider buying a later generation hybrid from another player.
