What is a leopon?
A Leopon is a hybrid animal resulting from the crossbreeding of a male leopard with a female lion. This hybrid animal possesses the physical characteristics of both parent species.

Is It possible In Real Life ?
A leopon is possible there are a few cases of these lions being bred, although these are mostly forced, or in captivity.

When was the Leopon Released?
The leopon was released on the 9th of October, 2015. And was released through this news post. It was so simply Dropped in the middle of a news posts the first ever hybrid! Wooo?

Worth of Leopons
This depends entirely on your lion! First generation leopons (depending on generation) can go upwards of 1000 while normal leopons, clean ones more specifically can range around 200-500 while dirty ones are more averagely at 150-250

How hard is it to get leopons?
It depends on how you are going to do it! Buying them is obviously 100% that you will receive one. CRBs for first gens is a MASSIVE gamble. So the next best option is buying heats. Buying reverse heats and breeding other leopons for the hope of a pass! 50/50 chance! Hybrids have a 5% pass rate

What are the exactly?
First generation leopons are lions that appear within random breedings with any type of lioness. This leopon will appear as a (first generation leopon) as shown below.

When a first generation leopon is born it will keep its mother’s heritage but it’s father will be wiped as “unknown” meaning the father’s heritage will also we wiped.

What’s the difference between First gens and normal leopons?
First gens are just about a difference mutation nearly. While normal pons have a 5% pass rate of passing leopons. While first gens have a 10% pass rate. First generation leopons also have an exclusive base and exclusive mark unique to them. First gens can ONLY be obtained randomly through breeding.

How do I breed First Generation Leopons
First generation leopons cannot pass down from a normal leopon instead they have a EXTREMELY low chance to pop up as a random mutation. To increase the chance of getting a first generation hybrid you can use mutation influencing items. The best way to increase your chances is doing mass CRB projects. But if I’m being honest it’s a massive gamble. I did 856 crbs in 2023, which the results can be found here the results were rough. People have gotten first gen hybrids in 1-200 crbs while others are in 1k-4K crbs deep without a hybrid. It’s all up to luck.

Other ways are when you have a crb lioness to stack them with lion meat. Or a gmo cow, and even better! Make sure these lioness are low fert! That’s your best chance other than crbs

Also it is to keep in mind that when breeding crbs to a pie stud, if that pie passes it has a chance to overtake the random mutation, which in this case could be a hybrid. Here’s the roll order

Breeding Items To Use/Not use

Buffalo Scrotum

Why use it?
Buffalo Scrotum increases the amount of cubs in the litter by 3+ meaning you could get 3 cubs or 4! Hybrids naturally pass, meaning the more cubs you can get the more hybrid chances you have! Each cub rolls for 5% of a chance!

Grain of paradise

Why use it?
Grain of paradise increases the amount of cubs in the litter by 3+ meaning you could get 2 cubs 3 or 4! Hybrids naturally pass, meaning the more cubs you can get the more hybrid chances you have! Each cub rolls for 5% of a chance!

Instant birth feather

Why use it?
You should use this for the first day your leopon ages up! This will grant you an extra heat if you use it every heat! This items makes your lions Birth instantly, meaning you don’t need to wait the 3 days!

Optional items to use

Lion Meat

Lion meat can be used for an extra chance at a mutation, not a hybrid specifically but any mutation. This will not help your lion pass a hybrid.

GMO cow

This is another mutation increasing item! This will increase your odds at a mutation a bit more than a lion meat but then again it’s completely optional and it will not increase your chance of a hybrid pass.

Items NOT to use.

Cotton Root Bark

I do NOT advise using crbs, as this will kill your lioness whole litter. Meaning that you could ultimately kill a hybrid. I only advise using crbs only on normal lions. NOT on hybrids,

Lion Scrotum

Lion Scrotum usually helps the pass of a mutation but this is NOT the case for hybrids. This item is a waste of time and money. This will NOT help the passing of a hybrid in anyway.

Leopons heats

Leopons have a heat every 20 days just like any other lion!
The only way to increase your chances of a leopon cub is to increase your cub litter size! You should use all heats as soon as they come into them! You should always consider using a GOP or Buffy on these heats.

A normal leopon has 5% chance per cub to pass down
A First generation leopon had 10% per cub to pass down.

I recommend basing heat prices off of this
Dirty hybrid = 25
Clean hybrid 2-3G = 50-60
Clean hybrid 4-6 = 30-40
Clean hybrid 7-10+ = 25-35

Best month to obtain Leopons
February! February is without a doubt the best month to obtain leopon, why you ask? It’s because it’s the month that all hybrids are unfrozen to sell heats and cubs. This month opens up a lot of possibilities for you to buy barked heats and get a hybrid. The reason this month is so popular is because it features yoh barks buffalo scrotums and gops. Two items which are somewhat necessary for breeding hybrids.

BARKED HEATS are a major part of February, if you can get 600 HS (20 yoh barks) you can breed to hybrids for little to no cost. INCLUDING first generation hybrids. Now breeding these lions with a buffalo scrotum gives you a fair chance at getting a hybrid, though I encourage you to ONLY breed first gens for the higher chance,

Breeding them - not through hybrids
Now the more, Risky…harder and irritating way to breed a leopon is by breeding a first generation leopon. which is rough. I recommend that you do mass crbs for this. As you have more chances. But like I said above It’s really a gamble. 100-1000 crbs it may take. More or less. I recommend also, that when you have lion meats or crbs that you stack just like this..

Low fert girl + lion meat + crb (remember to apply the crb first)
OR
Low fert girl + GMO cow + crb (remember to apply the crb first)

This will give you the best chance at a higher up mutation!

Buying Leopons
The simplest of them all. Buying the leopon. Saving up a solid 100-300gb and just buying a leopon off TC is obviously your best bet at getting one! No faults!

Passing Through Heats
Heats are a great way to get hybrids, but expect the fact that most will fail. So it can be quite expensive. Each cub in a litter has a 5% pass rate meaning the more cubs the better. You can buy barked heats (which I don’t recommend outside of feb) or you can buy normal heats.

What Is G1 Leopon Exclusive
When a g1 leopon is born any markings or traits are overridden by g1 traits which can ONLY naturally come from g1 leopons (excluding passing down from lions)

There are two distinct features that can only originate from first gen leopons. That is the..

Kimanjano Base


And the

Mottled rosette marking


These both can only originate from first gen leopons BUT they can pass down. Meaning cubs of leopons that ARENT leopons can get the base. These lions do NOT have a chance to pass a pon

Here is an example. This is a normal lioness just with the base and marks.


Though despite the base and Mottled rosette marking. First generation leopons will also spawn in with a white underfelt markings and sun glow eyes. Though these are not exclusive to first gen leopons.

Pass Rates
Kimanjano base is quite difficult to get. Although if the mother is a leopon you will have a greater chance at getting it to pass. It is Assumed that the pass rate for the base is less than 1%

If a leopon in involved in the breeding, it will pass just like any other special base. If no hybrid is involved it will have roughly half this chance to pass.
As for Mottled rosette if it is coming from a leopon, whether or not it had Mottled rosette or not. It will pass like a normal marking. If a leopon is not involved in the breeding it will have the pass rate chance of any other marking. Though if you have two lions. Both a stud and lioness with Mottled rosette there is a very high chance of the rosette passing (roughly 75%)

How it’s passed down.
It can only come from a g1 leopon to start. But from here a lioness can possibly pass down the base and marks.



The white lions are lions that will have random bases and marks. When a cub has inherited the base or marks it can pass them down. But a cub that is NOT a leopon cannot pass down a leopon.

Why do people king hybrids?
People king hybrids purely Just because I kinged a tigon myself because it fit my lore. But generally it is literally just a flex. There is no advantages to kinging a hybrid.

What are the limitations?
Kinging hybrids aren’t all fun and joy, hybrids kings CANNOT pass down hybrids. Hybrid kings CAN only breed to goddess FERT lions. There is no fun in kinging them as it is expensive and generally for nothing.

Selling Heats
Selling heats is by far the best way to make profits. Meaning that you can sell either reverse or split heats through the reverse breeding function. Meaning people pay you to use the heat and get the cubs. Meaning the lion will stay with the owner but the cubs will go to the buyer. Like I stated above this is what I suggest basing your pricing off

Selling Hybrid Cubs
Hybrid cubs! The next best thing. Obviously this is a gamble as you will need to use the heats yourself but if you get a hybrid you can sell that cub! As a CUB 1 month - 1.11 year this is a very rough pricing

Dirty hybrid : 150-300
Clean hybrid 2-4 gen 250-500
Clean hybrid 5-7 gen 200-450
Clean hybrid 10+ gen 150-300

I suggest selling this cub as young as possible and with ALL heats.

Selling the actual leopon
Could it be more simple? Just by selling the hybrid! Just keep in mind that age, appearance, generation and inbred all alters the price. You can use my above pricing as a rough guide.

Selling Frozen leopons
Once your lion retires it can be frozen or brought back to life. This will make a lion frozen and no longer interactive. You can sell a lion about to die as a “ready to freeze” or a already frozen lion as “frozen leopon” these lions heritage and dirty/clean do NOT matter, these lions go for roughly 70-20 to be used as trophy lions.
